Prado Cafe — Restaurant in Vancouver

First time coming to the Dunbar location, and sadly a bit disappointed. I was getting breakfast and coffee to go. The space is quite loud, so I didn’t want to stay there for long. Staff was friendly, but unfortunately I got home and saw the order was wrong and received a sandwich instead of a wrap. The iced donut was also smushed into the bag so half the icing had come off.. a small box would be better for take out. Also, one of the drinks got missed and the large group after me started getting served their drinks. Staff did make my other drink as soon as I mentioned it though. I went at noon and I got the carrot cake and london fog to go after reading reviews. The place was decently filled with customers. The carrot cake was delicious and I would definitely go for it again. The london fog was fragrant, but the consistency was watery and not thick like a cafe latte, so it wasnt to my liking. The barista making my london fog did ask for my milk preference which I appreciated. They packaged my carrot cake well, however, I did not appreciate the worker in the fleece just tossing the package on the counter for me instead of gently placing it on...

Prado café (Dunbar) looks pretty new. It is clean, has lots of natural light and the service is quick. Arriving around 11am on a workday Monday, there were a couple of people working on their laptops while enjoying their beverage. Seats wise, there is outdoor seating which is perfect for spring through fall. Pastries are good and I was really glad that they also had vegan pastries and wraps. The Americano and drip coffee were also decent in both taste and price point. I recommend Prado cafe to people who would like a quiet coffee break or to enjoy coffee time with...
