Absolutely the most embarrassing beef donair I have ever had and I had it twice in the past week to see if the first one was a one off. The least amount of meat in donair history. Last time I paid for extra meat and it and it barely made a different. Do not under any circumstances order the beef donair wrap from here. The chicken shawarma is much better, but the donair is atrocious. I'm mad even thinking about it! Vancouver is known for mediocre donairs at the best of times but as someone in a group chat commented, "you need to know what the bottom looks like to see what the top is." Well, this is the beef donair bottom.

Hot fresh falafel wrap made to order. When they ask if you want everything on it, make sure to tell them “no spicy” if you don’t want hot chilli sauce. I strongly recommend adding the lentil soup for $3.99, as it is delicious, although I think they heated it up in the microwave. Prices are reasonable, bathroom is spotless, and they do a lot of takeout business so it can be, a bit of weight during peak times. Next visit, I think I’ll order the platter with hummus and falafel, and get a triangle of baklava for dessert.

Absolutely amazing food — comforting, delicious, wonderful value for money especially for students, flavours make you homesick for places you may not have even been. They’re always so accommodating and generous, one of my favorite spots in the city easily. Highly recommend the lamb donair platter! Hummus and falafel are also to die for, especially the garlic sauce which I always get extra of because wow… clearly made with a lot of loving labour. Only regret is wish I had discovered them sooner! Love you Mr Falafel <3

I really don't know where to start...The food was so atrocious that I am compelled to write this review. Every restaurant has a bad moment now and again but this wasn't a bad moment but rather a calculated decision to serve inedible and days old food, with the exception of the chicken. We ordered the spinach pie - all salt and full of grease with a few crumbs of feta, literally. The beef souvlaki was shockingly repellent - not one edible forkful in the entire dish. Again, more salt than the Dead sea. Serious. The meat appeared to be several days old given the dryness and visual observation. Once in my mouth I realised that it was worse than I expected. Tough as nails and drier than a cows hide. Just quite unbelievable that anyone would actually serve food like this. The potatoes, rice and salad were equally soaked in salt. No exaggeration. The chicken souvlaki had freshly grilled chicken which was moist but again covered in salt with no spices/herbs of any kind. This just may be the worst food I have ever been served. Most reviews for this place are over the top wonderful or over the top dreadful, like my review, so it is impossible to know what is causing the variance. I trust the reviews are largely honest so there i s a huge quality control issue here which all should be concerned about. We ordered through Skip the Dishes and they have fully refunded us with no problems at all as we are regular Skip customers and always give the feedback after the order has been delivered. 90% of the time the food ordered is good and after hundreds of orders over the years this is perhaps the second time I have ever experienced anything remotely close to this. If you really want to try this place I would suggest eat in as you can always send it back if it is repugnant but I would never take a chance on ordering delivery as there is little recourse. I hope this is helpful. As for the management of Mr. Falafel, I sincerely hope that whatever has taken you to a place where you feel it is okay to serve what you did is rectified and you take accountability for serving food of this quality. I didn't mention above that the food did not arrive at a 'food safe' temperature with the exception of the chicken, which is also a big concern, and further proves that nothing was fresh except for the chicken....

RUDEST STAFF ON PLANET EARTH. I have been visiting mr falafel a lot in the past year because it’s very close to my house. I used to like their food a lot but as a server myself, I respect good and positive service. The staff is extremely rude idk if this lady owns the place but she definitely acts like it.

This evening, I went in to order a wrap and roasted potatoes. I dropped the potatoes by accident. It should be the staff’s courtesy to provide me with a new bowl, not like it was a big portion, it was a very little portion of potatoes that I had and they could’ve easily refilled it. Not only did they not offer a new serving, in fast these two ladies talked to each other in their language and I heard them laugh. This is extremely disrespectful and as much as I like the food, I will never visit again!! All my friends go there too and I will make sure none of them visit again. The stuff needs to fix their poker faces and...

Went in there earlier today around 4pm with my niece to get two lamb donairs with taboulie. Guy with the go-tee behind the counter comes with all kinds of attitude like he thinks he’s cool or something when he’s a straight up one-punch. Some people who work behind the counter at certain spots just assume things about people when they look at you when they old saying goes “when you assume things you only make and a— out of U and ME” they in fact don’t have a clue otherwise and if they knew who you really knew they would never act try to play the role or act hard ever again. Anyway biggest clown, tons of attitude, worst lamb donair I’ve ever had. They give you the tiniest amount of meat, and then they make you pay extra for taboulie and then give you the tiniest amount. For two donairs with no drink or nothing it’s like 20 bucks. Worst donair in the city, but I guess it’s the only donair place within a ten to twenty...
