Worst service and very unfriendly staff! Only upside was maybe the samosas. Came here through a friend’s recommendation. Guy behind the counter was horrible. No hello. Just looked at me and wanted me to tell him what I wanted. Ordered samosas and was told it would take 20mins to made. The only upside to the experience was that you know the samosas will be fresh because they’re going to fry it while you wait. If you want to wait the 20mins. The chicken and potato samosas filling is dryer. Not as moist and soft like some of the other places we’ve been to. Vegetable Samosas are 95 cent each. Chicken Samosas are $2 each. Medium size Chutney is $1.50. Would I recommend this place? Only if service and friendliness is not at the top of your list. Would I come back for the samosas? No. Not waiting 20mins for dry samosas. Will settle for the other places with softer fillings and sitting under a heat lamp.

Went there with high expectations, I am from the region for which this store should specialise in. To be frank , too much of high expectations make the actual feeling of the place not that great. I had lassi , it was quite sour. A non veg thali which was good and gujhiyas which were quite okay. Not very impressed, not very very disappointed. Price point is average. Go there if you need some Indian desserts and sweets

Great place for veggie samosas, with tamarind sauce! Don’t forget their tamarind sauce. Channa samosa is yummy and very filling. I like their laddu’s! I also like their lunch special chicken curry and rice. Don’t expect amazing service but certain food stuff is nice here. If you know what to get here and what works for you, it’s awesome.

Great place! This place exceeded our expectations and left us very impressed! I'm from downtown and was having a craving for Rasmalai, so my boyfriend and I decided to go for a drive and find an Indian place that served my favourite dessert. We had no idea where to go and just happened across this little restaurant and took a chance on it. At the time I didnt know what my favourite desert was called so I tried to describe it to the woman at the counter but because I didn't know what it was called I made a mistake and ordered another very delishous savoury item with cheese balls that tasted similar to a butter chicken. I did not regret making that mistake one bit because it was really good. We also tried the chicken Masala and rice pulao. We had nann and veggy samosas, pakora, and cauliflower pakora. We unintentionally ordered a feast where we will have lots of left overs for the week, but it was absolutley the best food experience. After eating the delishously satisfying meal, I finally was able to find a picture of my favourite dessert Rasmalai and they said they had it and made it for me. It was absolutley perfect, it satisfied my craving and left us so impressed. Dont judge this place because it looks like a corner store type bakery and not necessarily a restaurant, it wasnt very busy for sit down service, but there were a lot of takeout orders and I can say the food was better than what we can expect to get from a high end restaurant downtown. I highly recommend this place to anyone! This place will definetly see...

I had a very disappointing experience here that I feel compelled to share. I ordered food on two separate occasions and found a strand of hair in both orders. This wasn’t just a one-time slip-up — it happened twice, which made me seriously question the cleanliness and hygiene practices in the kitchen.

When I contacted the owner to express my concerns, I expected at least an apology or some sense of responsibility. Instead, I was told that I had probably put the hair in the food myself — a completely unfounded and frankly insulting response.

To make matters worse, the owner offered me a refund of one cent — yes, literally $0.01 — on an order that cost around $35. I couldn’t believe how dismissive and unprofessional the response was. It felt like a clear message that customer concerns aren’t taken seriously here.

Mistakes happen — that’s understandable. But how a business responds to those mistakes is what matters most. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning, and I can’t in good conscience recommend this...

If I could give it a 0 star, I would. I went there yesterday and the lady at the counter went to the back after serving one customer and left me there waiting to buy their sweets. Other customers came in and then we realized that another counter lady for just busy chatting with people on the end of the counter. I asked for help after standing there for about 10 minutes and she told me to wait - quite rudely. I asked her how much were the gulam jamum and she told me it was $1 a piece. I asked for how much in lbs and she said $7/ lb. She thought I did not know my Indian food pricing and tried to rip me off! I believe most other places are about $6/ lb as I just asked a couple of days ago near North Delta where we have our office - Nav Sweets and Restaurant - and it was $5 to $6/lb unless it was the extra creamy nutty bars. Just because I was Chinese, she thought I did not know better and boy, was she ignorant! I would avoid this after reading that they are not known but their...
