Second Beach Concession — Restaurant in Vancouver

Just the worst. Went to order food at 11am. Sorry, we are not ready to make food yet, probably another 30 minutes I am told. Within 3 seconds, order for fish and chips comes up. I look at the lady behind the counter and she says that will be the last one for a while. If they were out I would understand, busy day, things run out. But the only explanation given was that they don't make food at that time, except they clearly do.

It's overpriced and not the best to begin with and I can deal with that. I know it going in. But when you can't give me the so-so, overpriced food, what is the point of you...

Very basic and small , huge lineups, meters from washrooms where all the smells are mixed together, it's a shame for the city . Such a crowded plase and expensive neighborhoods suppose to have a large concession area apart from washrooms . It's easy to get confused because of the crowd in that particular area three lineups one is for the swimming pool another for washrooms and several others for the food and drinks so all together is forming a huge crowd . I have been coming to Second beach pool for the past 9yrs, and the staff have been excellent until this summer, there is a noticeable change. The staff don’t speak English very well, they are rude and condescending. Don’t know where the ingredients list is and cannot help with allergies. They speak in Spanish amongst each other while the customer is standing there in front of them. People are not stupid and can read body language and tone.
