We are soo fortunate to live in a land of abundance. Stanley Park is a safe place where WE GET TO experience peace and serenity. If you feel like watching animals, smelling flowers or admiring the most beautiful tall lush trees, this is the place with little to no distraction. Sometimes when I sit quietly i can hear the owls sing. And I've even experienced hearing the wind coming off the birds wings as it flew by.... WOW! Long path for walking, jogging etc. Also you get to see the water airplane take off and land there, a beautiful sight to see these nice airplanes. In addition, there is a cannon that is fired everyday at 09:00 PM local time. That is also fun to watch and hear. There are horse and buggy rides. Which takes an hour for to go around the whole park.
