Mixed feelings about this brewery! On one hand, I LOVED the location and the atmosphere of the brewery. The interior was channeling cottage, with all the exposed beans and heavy use of wood everywhere. It felt so cozy, even sitting outside on the patio in the middle of February. Happy hour is also a great time to go, most beers are $2 off their regular price. However, on the other hand, the beers were questionable. We all know craft beers can be a huge hit or miss but I have never missed THIS HARD before. We ordered a flight of beer and tried 4 very different types of beers. 1) Session IPA - very safe, very classic crisp IPA if that's your jam. 2) Peach Wheat Ale - again, another very safe option but really tasty if you enjoy the peach flavour. Then it all goes wrong... 3) Invasive species dark lager - this was part of their rotating taps and it tasted like cherry cough syrup. Maybe it's the "blackberry and burdock root" flavour that was too overpowering, but I don't agree with the description of the beer at all. 4) Chocolate coconut porter - by far the worst beer I have ever tasted in my entire life, it tasted like Chinese medicine through and through. Just don't do it or be careful what you order - maybe stick to the classics.

Service was a little terse or unfriendly in my experience, it's understandable seeing as they maybe were understaffed. The beer flights are a better deal than getting a pint, which defintely encouraging to try a few types of beers. I really liked the Sour they had! Fish n Chips were OK, i loved the pear sandwich that my partner got. I came here with my partner after biking on the seawall. Just FYI they also had signs about their happy hour at 5pm then again at 9pm. It's a good idea to catch the sunset at Second Beach (just steps away from the brewpub). If I were to go back I'd want to ask to be seated toward the front where the trees are, the back is just a view of the park's tennis courts. Beware it gets dark quickly and we end up feeling stranded and ordered a app-based cab ride to get us back to our lodging. The logo and swag looks nice, and they sell four types of to-go cans for home and one special order brew online exclusive only. I also saw Stanley Brewing has a bar open at the VAN airport, its too bad they weren't selling swag or cans as it's located past TSA line and I would've liked to bring home a can to NYC. I wish they sold sell swag for any last minute souvenir purchases, as one suggestion!

Our experience began with the tender quiet of a Sunday evening, the kind that promises nothing more than a single beer and the comfort of routine. Tyler, our server, delivered our first IPA with the grace of a man who understood the poetry of beginnings.

The patio was a vibrant ecosystem — first-date dreamers, visiting families still soft from travel, partygoers in their native habitat, and old friends whose laughter had been seasoned by years. Each table its own island, and yet, unseen currents began to draw us together.

The shift was imperceptible at first, like the sun’s slow descent, and then all at once it bloomed — an uncontainable eruption of connection. Conversations leapt from table to table, strangers became co-conspirators, and the night’s air thickened with shared joy.

The transformation was glorious. Lap dances appeared not as vulgarities but as strange, exuberant acts of celebration. Whiskey flowed like a golden river; dance-offs broke out as if choreographed by fate itself. The first-date couples, far from recoiling, found themselves folded into this carnival — theirs was a date that would become myth within their own small histories.

Patioman Tyler, unshaken in the face of rising chaos, allowed the night to unfurl without interference — not a single worry in his bones, only the quiet confidence of a man who knows that sometimes, the best way to guide joy is simply to let it run wild.

The enigmatic blonde was less a person and more a vision — radiant, untouchable. The beer was more than beer; it was a balm, a catalyst, a blessing.

Would I return? No. I would pilgrimage. For Stanley Park’s patio is not merely a place — it is a moment in time that swells with the beauty of human chaos.

Thank you for a night etched into memory — a living testament to human connection, spontaneity, and bliss. You all deserve an ovation that could shake the sky.

We were at the brewhouse opening day in 2019, and from that day on it was our go to place. We were likely here 1-2 times a week. And always celebrating birthdays and any excuse to be there. The food was amazing. The beer was cold and the service was wonderful. Where else would you want to drink a cold beer than in the middle of one of the most beautiful places in Vancouver? Over time the food started lacking, poorly cooked, smaller portions. Then there were amazing promotions like WTF and it was fun and new and exciting again. But again, things got bad. And got worse. Service became iffy and what was once a close to home experience became a place where you were left to sit waiting for even a hello longer than is reasonable. We kept coming, everyone had bad days. Then it was enough, we found better. It had been months since we had been back and today we decided to give it another shot and hope things got better. Unfortunately we werent shocked when the food was sub par and the service was abysmal, we went when we knew it would be less hectic since it was a holiday. But that didn't help. We sat for 25 min after we had finished eating and half our plates cleared watching our waitress clean other tables and walk past while OBVIOUSLY seeing our table, to get our bill. Never once when the food came were we asked about drink refills or checked on. And unfortunately this didn't seem to be exclusive to our table.

Unfortunately we have decided to write off what we had once considered our favorite place in the city and we...

First time eating here and we had the oddest experience. We were told the wait for a table on the patio would be 30 minutes, so we put our name down and returned when they text us. Although there were several empty tables on the sunny South side of the patio facing the water, the hostess took us around the side of the restaurant and offered to squeeze us in a small table next to a family with kids in strollers. The table was right next to the exit stairs and service elevator. We asked the hostess why we were being seated there when there were much nicer tables sitting empty and were told "there is a waiting list for tables". We told the hostess that we had waited on that list for 30 minutes and we didn't underestand why those tables were being saved for people behind us on the list, but we couldn't use them?? The hostess said we could sit at a high bar table if we liked? Again we asked her why we couldn't just sit at one of the two-tops that were sitting empty in the nice part of the patio facing the ocean??? She told us she would go see if that was ok and went off to talk to other staff and consult her tablet. She returned and said it would be ok if we sat at one of the empty tables we requested. The food and drinks were good, but the whole meal we were distracted noticing that the tables around us still sat empty and wondering why the hostess refused to tell us why we weren't welcome in the nice part of the patio!
