Used to be our favourite (and go-to) Sushi place (every weekend for the last 5 years), but with recent changes in staff, this is no longer the case.

The old staff (Chloe, Suzy, Boram, Haley, Sophie...) were extremely amicable and always dedicated to providing top-notch service. The food was always delicious.

However, the new staff are nothing like this, and seem to go out of their way to make our visits more trouble than they need to be, AND they don't seem to care about the quality of their service or food anymore.

We supported the restaurant through the onset of COVID (once they opened back up), and since then, orders have been wrong (items wrong/missing) without any visible remorse on the part of the new employees.

Don't come on the weekend expecting good service.

Sophie, if you're reading this, please know that Jay (the new girl who works front) is almost entirely responsible for the ~$3000/year that we would otherwise be happily giving to Sushi Mania, but will NOT from this point forward. Brandon also doesn't know who the manager is, apparently. These employee's lack of concern about their customer's dissatisfaction has been the last straw, and we won't be coming back.

Thank you, Sophie and those named above, for the great service and delicious food while it lasted. We will miss it, and we hope you are able to find a better set of employees to run the restaurant while you are...

I have eaten here in past and the food was pretty good but I placed an order tonight and received almost $80 of sushi that was either slapped together by an amateur or someone that Clearly didn’t care, Throwing things together for a quick buck, or for drunks that simply can’t tell the difference sushi was loosely rolled with an inconsistent amount of rice all around and sliced by some one with there eyes closed as half the rolls were absolutely huge and others super slim The chicken Karaage was overdone left in the fryer too long, with textures Consistent with that of oil soaked cardboard, on the other hand the two rolls priced at over $13 each turned out fairly well I’ll let you make your own judgement on that one Very disappointed And unfortunately I will have to wait several more years before I’m willing to take a chance on Sushi as substandard and overpriced as this, My Apologies to those whom read this review after buying their sushi and are left ultimately...

I love this place! We got a great dinner here tonight, as usual. We order takeout at least a couple of times a week and it's always awesome. Tonight I waited for my order because they were VERY busy, and were still taking the time to carefully prepare and expedite each order accurately. It seems to have become acceptable for restaurants to be sloppy and careless with takeout orders (from other restaurants, I often get the wrong order or missing items). I am always happy to wait for quality, and tonight I had the chance to watch how meticulously and efficiently their tiny kitchen runs.

We almost ordered dinner across the street tonight (from an unpleasant Chinese seafood restaurant - I decided rather than leaving a negative review of them repeatedly hanging up on me, I'd focus on the positive experience that came out of it). We were planning to order from Sushi Mania tomorrow. Maybe we will do 2 days in a row. We know...

I have been dreaming of this place since I first tried it a few weeks ago. The prices are very reasonable & everything we ordered was delicious. The two items I always look for on a sushi menu are Spicy Sashimi Salad & Tuna Gomae, they had both & they were both exactly what I was looking for. Both the hot sauce & the gomae sauce were so delicious I think I could drink them. The gomae sauce was so good I asked for a side order of it for the tuna sashimi we ordered & my partner & I were fighting over it, it was that good. My partner also ordered the sushi pizza & one of their special rolls which he throughly enjoyed. The only downside to this place is that it's very small so there's a good chance you might have a bit of a wait, but it's well worth it. The service is quick & friendly. Definitely a nice little spot for couples or small parties of maybe 4-6. If you are larger group than that they may not be able to accommodate you.

If not for the kind service, this would be a 1 star review. Probably one of the worst quality sushi that I've had in ages. Maybe they had a bad day or maybe this order was an outlier, but my god was the sushi ever bad. Ordered salmon avocado, chopped scallop, and Alaska rolls. All three rolls were loosely rolled. To the point when I picked them up with chopsticks they would fall apart. Chopped scallop roll barely had any scallop. Alaska roll had the thinnest piece of salmon draped over the top of the roll. And when I say thin, it was THIN. It barely covered the top of the roll. I understand. It's during covid. However, quality should not be compromised by reduced quantity of filling. Truly disappointed in the joint. Would be more than happy to change my review should they show me they can do better, but at this point I'm not sure i would risk spending money here again.

Subpar sushi with TERRIBLE service. Ordered take out at 630pm and they suggested picking up at 710pm. Arrived there at 710pm and there was a sizable lineup of people who were also waiting for their orders. Waited for 20 minutes and asked the waitress how much longer which she replied that other people were in the same boat as us and we just had to keep waiting. After a 40 minute wait we finally got our food. It was very evident that they rushed to make the sushi. Some of the pieces came apart the instant they were picked up. The sushi rice stuck to the bottom of the container. Some of the filling wasn't even completely in the roll. The unagi had a surprising amount of bones in them. The only decent thing was the chicken This was the first and last time I'll be ordering from here. Very disappointed
