Mount Pleasant Park — Attraction in Vancouver

Mount Pleasant Park is so beautiful and an ideal place to visit, especially in the summer. Lots of trees to sit under, big canopies of flowers and vines covering a walkway with benches, plus a community garden, picnic tables, skate park, basketball court, and a playground.

In the summer, Music On Main has live music performances. Once a year, there’s a giant movie screen put up for a show (Super Mario this time), and an annual park celebration with games and local businesses meeting the neighbours. The dentist’s office making and giving out free cotton candy this year was brilliant evil genius marketing.

Someone (not me) anonymously decorates a lil tree there every Christmas. Over a few days, more and more decorations show up.
