Bakkerij Lobelle — Restaurant in Vanderhoof

I love the apple fritters my that my 73 year old Dad will pick up for me from the bakery and have heard good things about the food However, my rating is based on a specific event. Yesterday my father went to the bakery and fell on a large patch of pure ice. He told the individual who was working to which no concern or response was given. Today he can barely move, and has been in bed all day. I called to see if they did anything about the ice, and after mentioning my dads fall and lack of reaction or concern yesterday, (to which I was thanked for the calland ended the convo)there was no care or concern detected.

I am not expecting that every service provider offer personal concern for everyone, but it is the responsibility of the business to make sure that their patrons are safe and the entrance is free of any potential liability issues.

I am new in the community and have experienced nothing but amazing kindness and friendliness so it was to my dismay when I received an apathetic response similar to the response my father received at the time of the fall.

I have found my favourite bakery ever! All the pastries I’ve tried have been delicious. Such a hidden gem in the town of Vanderhoof. If I could give this place a 10/5, I definitely would! My favourite are the chocolate eclairs! I can’t seem to get enough of them. They’re heavenly. I even brought a whole bunch home to Winnipeg! My family and friends are in love with this bakery and are asking when I’ll be going back to Vanderhoof next. A hidden gem for travellers passing through, but a popular local favorite. With desserts that look equally appetising as they as they are tasty and a various selection of well-brewed coffee, Bakkerij Lobelle is serving up the perfect bakery experience, whether it's a quick grab'n'go, or a casual sit down for lunch you will not be disappointed.
