Cozy Corner Pizzeria — Restaurant in Vanderhoof

Decided to try the "Cozy Corner Pizzeria" being fairly new to vanderhoof. Based off of the google rating and how busy it always seems to be we had high hopes.

The restaurant was quite cold and our server seemed like she might have been little overwhelmed as she definitely forgot about us .

I ordered the "Cozy Caps" which were good but not very creamy/cheesy, and the mushrooms were cut in half. The beef dip was very dry and the only flavour I tasted was rosemary, the bread was so hard I left with multiple cut on the roof of my mouth. The fries were good not a single complaint from my 4 year old.

One kid ordered the nachos (chips, beef and cheese) they were quite crispy/over cooked, beef was very bland. Ther kid ordered a cheese quesadilla which is hard to mess up, the only complaint was that the tortilla shell tasted funny.

My husband ordered the cheezy garlic bread sticks which happened to be everyones favorite. The 5 star mac and cheese, previously frozen, mushy and overcooked, not enough cheese, and very little flavor.

Cozy Corner has great food, I've enjoyed everything I've tried so far especially their pizzas. They have a real 'cozy' warm atmosphere, they played good music and the servers were very friendly. I really liked the big spacious booths. The only thing that bothers me on this particular visit was the manager wouldn't allow a full drink to be replaced without paying for a new one, after it was accidently spilled shortly after it got to our table. Just sucks spending $8 on a drink, and then end up not getting to have that drink.. but it is what it is, it's not their fault the drink got knocked over. Just sucks only 3 sips were had and then went without a drink due to a limited budget. The server was very empathetic and sincerely sorry about it though which helped. Besides that I still love Cozy Corner and would recommend it for take out or dining in. It's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of good pizza and you're passing...

WOW! WOW, I have never had such an incredible meal. Not only was the food amazing, so was the customer service. I have never written a review for a restaurant before but this place really deserves it. Me and my partner were just passing through and happened to come across this place. We started with the Thai chilli chicken and homemade pickles….. dude. If you like pickles, my god you need to try these. And don’t even get me started on the pizza and brownies lol BEST EVER 😭🙏🏻 Lord I would eat this food everyday if I could! Gorgeous place from top to bottom and incredibly welcoming and funny staff. The owners are so kind and you can tell how much hard work they put into making everything in this place fresh and beautiful. It’s really nice to see!
