Me and my friends walked in and the one and only waitress stood there looked at us and didn’t serve us to sit so we had to ask if we can sit mean while there was barely anyone in the resultant at the time, so it wouldn’t have been a bother to sit us. So we sat on the terrace to eat and we weren’t given our menus or even been acknowledged after being seated for 10 to 15 min, we were given our menus and than had to wait another 10min so we can even ask for water or anything to drink. It then took another 15 minutes to be given our 4 waters nothing special. The food however did come pretty fast but I did not feel like me and my three friends were treated like the other customers I don’t know if it’s because we’re younger and not adults with their family but the others had been served and acknowledged quicker and more times than us. Great experience dining there tonight after our flight delay made us miss our train ride back to Ottawa and we had to rent a car to drive home instead. We were very frustrated, tired, cold and hungry, so we stopped for dinner when we spotted this restaurant on Google Maps shortly after leaving the airport. Our moods are totally lifted now! The high rating and appetizing pictures didn't disappoint either! We were very impressed with the menu and that there's a customization checklist-style menu which we used to order our own delicious creations. We both got the larger portion ($12 for the small; $15 for the large, for some leftovers) and they were impressive and gooey warm goodness. What elevated our visit was the excellent friendly bilingual service from our server, Lexie P. Her enthusiasm and helpful attitude towards newbies to the restaurant was a breath of fresh air. Simply amazing. Been a long time since i've been here. From the moment i walked in the owner Costa greeted me and my son. Sat us down and imediately walked us through his new promo for all you can eat poutine on tues. He joked with my kid about brocolli pogos and offered to get the kid meal out forst while i was waiting for my friends. It is so refreshing to see an owner on the floor taking such amazing care of the clients. Once my kid was stuffing his face, he came back to introduce the mwnu to my friends too and gave his suggestikns on what to start with. His suggestions were right on point! The cheeseburger poutine was amazing! He popped back every now and then to make sure we were happy and to see if we needed anything else. Havnt had this kind of service in a very long time!
