Restaurant Souvenirs Thai — Restaurant in Vaudreuil-Dorion

This was our second dine in the Souvenir Thai Restaurant in Vaudreuil-Dorion few hours back. Again they failed to provide the minimum customer service as expected. To point out our today’s disappointment, we were very unhappy with the food. Imagine yourself running to a restaurant to have one of your favorite dish, after having a long day and then you are welcomed with food served with HAIR! DISGUSTING! Totally! While I can understand kitchen closes at 8.30pm, this doesn’t explain that you compromise with the quality of food.

Coming to my first experience in the restaurant which was last Friday, I don’t understand how people working in such business has no courtesy to ask if you are done with your plate or not. I just finished my plate and this girl came and grabbed the plate away. Cmon this is mere mannerisms, right? I have not yet shared this on social media or any review website up until today’s experience. We decided not to press the issue at this time because we are paying money for service, so I have all the right to expect a meal that is not only delicious but complete edible as well.

We are not sure why this restaurant got high ratings. The service is horrible, and what’s even worse is that they just wiped the dining mats without using disinfectant spray. A super busy restaurant with very few servers. We got there at 5:40pm, they told us we must finish eating by 7pm. After sitting down, the waitress finally came to serve us at 6:05pm, and at 6:20pm, the soup arrived, at 6:30pm, spring rolls arrived, at 6:40pm dinner arrived, at 6:50pm we asked for our bill, took another 8 minutes to get the waitress with credit card machine. 6:58pm we were out the door as promised. I ordered the table d’hôte, in the beginning, the waitress told me it would come with coffee, at the end, another lady said there’s no such thing anymore. I ordered coconut milk chicken soup ($6), spring rolls ($5), chicken/shrimp pad Thai ($19), exactly $30, not sure what their “table d’hôte” is special about, came out exactly same price without coffee/tea if ordering regularly. The quantity and quality of the food is not worth the price. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this...

Une reservation pour 8 personne un samedi pour 17:30 ,pour célébrer la fête de mon fils 29 ans .moi et ma conjointe sommes arriver en premier soi 17:15 . 1- Accueil nous avons été accueili avec un sourire et du personel courtois , on leur dis que nous avons une réservation, on nous accompagne jusqu'à notre table préparer, on nous apporte le menu quelque instants après , et nous attendons le reste de la famille , nous domme bien installer.2- Nourriture les plats son plutôt ordinaire à la présentation mais quan même bon mais sans plus , pour ce type de restaurant là présentation dois être agréable au yeux les portion n'était pas tout à fais égal la soupe wong Yong était bonne les rouleaux impériaux aussi, le riz n'était pas à la hauteur de mes attentes, devien sec rapidement , nous avions demander le général tao très épicerie car la serveuse nous a dis il i as 3 niveaux mais nous avons constater que ce n'étais pas vraiment épicée. Le menu pour enfant est très limitée petite portion de général tao ou rouleaux impériaux .le service était bon et on respectait notre intimité familial, nous nous somme pas senti pousser par le temp comme dautre restaurant . PRIX les prix des plats son assez cher pour les portion la qualitee et l'ensemble de la présentation 3 plat général tao avec riz 4 rouleaux impériaux 2 soupe wongton un café 3 liqueur = 125.50$ + taxe 144.30$ + 18% de pourboire facure total 170.00$. Dans l'ensemble le restsurant a une façade assez ordinaire qui a office parmia dautre commerce l'entrer du restsurant et le de ordinaire est agréable .l'ambiance est bonne sauf quan il as beaucous de client cela devien très bruyant Pour le stationnement il i as beaucous de place . Au final le restaurant est correct mais sans plus , les prix les portion et le gout sont correct mais ne vous surprenderas pas . Pour une facture de 170.00$ couvrant 3 personne franchement je m'attendais à mieux bien sûr il i as place à amélioration et on voit le potentiel .pour ma part personnellement pourcune prochaine fois pour ce type de menu ce restsurant ne sera pas le premier sur ma liste , le point négatif le plus gros...
