I had a really great experience at Frank’s Bistro. The space is beautiful; clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, which made it feel inviting right from the start. The owner, Frank, was incredibly kind and attentive, checking in throughout the evening to make sure we were enjoying everything. You can tell he genuinely cares about the place and the people in it, and that level of warmth and effort really set the tone for the night. The food and drinks were just as impressive. I had the orecchiette, and it was flavourful and comforting. I also tried the espresso martini, which was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The menu is small, but in a good way - it feels intentional, like they’ve focused on doing a few things really well rather than trying to be everything at once. One thing worth noting: if you come across any older negative reviews, they’re from before the current owner took over. The restaurant is under new ownership, and it really shows in both the food and the service. I’m already looking forward to going back. If you’re looking for a spot that feels personal, welcoming, and well-executed, this place is worth a visit.

This place is such a gem! It’s got that perfect mix of upscale vibes but still feels super cozy and welcoming. You can tell it’s family owned—from the warm atmosphere to the adorable pictures of the owners' kids on the walls (seriously, such a nice personal touch). The decor is really well done—stylish without trying too hard—and everything was spotless, which I really appreciate. Food-wise, the portions were surprisingly generous (we definitely didn’t leave hungry), and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. For the quality, the prices were more than reasonable. Service was another highlight—genuine and friendly, like they actually care you’re there. You don’t get that kind of personable attention everywhere these days. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal in a place that feels like a home away from home.

Frank’s Place in Woodbridge is definitely worth the drive! I loved the cozy atmosphere right away. it feels relaxed and inviting with flowers on the ceiling and nice lighting, great for a date or casual dinner. The food was excellent. The truffle fries stood out; crispy and tasty, served with a really good truffle mayo. The lamb shank was tender and flavorful, with tasty roasted potatoes. I also enjoyed the penne pasta tossed in a rose vodka sauce. it was simple and delicious. The owner was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. They also offer gluten free options, which is a nice touch. Totally recommend this place!

Was a terrible experience today. Like no other I've experienced before in my life. My friend and I ordered pancakes and French toast. My friend is young, disabled and starving after swimming in the community center pool. He didn't tell me his pancakes were on the raw side till he ate 3 /6 of them. I said not to worry I will mention to the waiter. Who I think is the owner. Well the waiter could care less --he took the pancakes away, gave us the bill and DID NOT REMOVE THE PRICE OF THE PANCAKES FROM THE BILL!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!! hE ALSO TOOK THE PANCAKES WITHOUT OFFERING TO REPLACE THEM NOR A TAKEWAY BOX TO RECOOK LATER. So my friend paid for 3 raw pancakes. The waiter/owner was NOT EVEN APOLOGETIC. and also, both our orders were cold but we did not say anything because we were being polite. This owner/restaurant needs to take seriously customer feedback, I would never return to this cafe, when I order food I expect it to be hot and cooked!!!! They can't even meet simple requirements. Sure people make mistakes, so then take it off the bill!! So tacky it's disgusting behaviour

**IN response to yours, I do not lie about pancakes lol How sad that as a business owner you were incapable of handling this appropriately, exactly why this post was necessary. If someone politely tells you their food was undercooked, why assume that they lie? Instead you take it to the back to take pictures? Wow you are such an amazing waiter. Anybody would have handled this with flare and style, but not you, accusing a customer of lying to get out of paying 12.99 lol You're never too old to learn something new, such as don't make wrongful assumptions, the customer is always right, and an apology goes a long way. Good...

This dining place is very homey with a lot of regulars and people seeming to be familiar with each other. The owner of the place, Frank, is very hands-on and interacts often with the diners. Additionally, even the kitchen chef or cook came out to chat with the customers for a little while.

Birthdays happening are also celebrated as a group restaurant-wide. One of the waitresses comes in to present the cake and starts leading the crowd into a chorus of singing Happy Birthday to the celebrant.

I love how the menu seems to present a close to authentic Italian food selection. There are a lot of different pasta, seafood, and meat entree options. I got the veal tenderloin, and the way they served it was with mushroom and sautéed with dry marsala wine.

The interior's layout is a little off, though. They closed off one of the doors, and the door that is working opens straight to a washroom. Another minor thing I personally did not appreciate was the tone and hints of impatience I felt when Frank took my drink order. The communication exchange could be held a little more cordially, like how both of the waitresses were when interacting...
