Galaxie Diner — Restaurant in Vaughan

Came here last weekend after not coming here for a few years and I was quickly reminded why. Ever since management has changed a few years ago, this place has been on a steady decline. The male server was very rude and unhelpful. He mixed up two out of 3 orders. We all ordered coffees and he never came back once to refill them, even though they were clearly placed at the end of the table and empty. Further more, there was only cream and artificial sweetener on the table for our coffee, no milk, or sugar. But the part that upset me the most was when I asked for a take out container to bring the leftovers home and I got charged $0.20 for the container. Never in my entire life have I ever been charged for a take out container. The place has good prices and the portions are good but I'll never be coming back, nor will I reccomend it to others. So many other good breakfast restaurants in the area such as: boom breakfast, sunset grill, sunny morning, coras, gordos diner, do yourself a favour and try one of those places instead of...

The worst customer service ever. I had to wait for the waitress to take my order which took awhile and then she still messes up on my order which I have no idea about until I receive the bill. They overcharged me and can't get their waitress to take the right order to begin with. Pathetic. Then I had to wait for 15 minutes just to pay , but it doesn't end there...I had to personally get up and get the waitress and review the bill. At this point she knows she's wrong but she's more concerned that I pay the wrong price just so she doesn't have to pay from her pocket. Seriously? The manager wasn't even willing to deal with the issue or listen. Instead he thought we didn't want to pay the bill. Are you kidding me? We come way too often for that type of customer service, but from today onwards, not a chance. The waitress should be more compassionate and take responsibility. She was a red flag from the beginning when she didn't understand I want a cherry Pepsi. Come on , that's pretty basic. Don't waste your money...

On Sunday January 8, 2023, my husband and I went to this place to have breakfast and to have a good time, and it was the opposite of what we were expecting, We sat at a table with four chairs and because this table was situated close to another one that had four chairs too, they were practically rushing us out of the place, because a family of 8 people were waiting to be seated and those tables were the perfect place for them because the tables can be joined and seat a large family. The lady who served us was interrupting our conversation all the time, and when I asked her if she was rushing us because they need the table to seat other people, she admitted it and that's when we asked to talk to the manager, telling us that he wasn't there but We insisted and She brought us someone we weren't sure was the Manager.
