I was so excited to try this resturant as I was looking for something new in the area. Let me tell you, the entire expierence was a disaster. I came here on a Friday with 4 other people. Most of us have worked in the resturant industry in past so we're super laid back and are more forgiving than most when it comes to mistakes from either the server or the kitchen. We were sat at a table by a friendly hostess and after about 5 minutes, our server came around and introduced himself. He pretty much asked what we wanted and didn't list any specials or speak about the menu. We ordered our food which was a mix of apps and entrees and asked for it all to come out at the same time. ALL of the food came out at different times. There was literally a 25 minute difference from when the first dish hit the table to when the last one did. Each person ate their meal individually as the rest of the table watched them eat. As the food arrived there was no offering of pepper, salt, chili flakes, cheese, nothing. One of our guest's pasta dish went cold as he had to wait for the next round of food to come out to ask for salt as the dish was not seasoned. The waiter was nowhere to be found. As we were waiting for the food twittling our thumbs, we looked around the resturant and noticed the bartender pouring beer in a plastic cup with a straw and handing it to a server to drink. That was a nice touch. At least someone was being served. The last dish to arrive to the table was our pizza. The rest of the guests were finished eating and already had their plates cleared as they watched us eat. As we picked up a slice, the entirety of the toppings slid off onto our plate. At this point we gave up and ate the pizza with a fork and a knife. There's a few more things I can speak about but you get the point. Im so disappointed with this place.

My colleagues and I came here for lunch on a weekday. One of them had been here before and had a great experience. Hence, she made a reservation and spoke highly of this place. We were quickly seated and placed our order within a few minutes after we sat down. Our appetizer, Italian spring rolls, came out shortly after. It was fried to crispness on a bed of spicy cream sauce, which was a nice touch to the flavor. However, here's where it went wrong... our main course - 2 salads and their weekly special pasta - arrived 45 minutes after. Frigging 45 minutes for 2 salads and a pasta. We have asked our waitress to check for us, but she gave us an attitude when we explained to her that another table that had arrived AFTER us had gotten their food, even finished eating at the time, and we were still waiting for our food. However, she didn't seem like she cared, as if that's the least of her problem. Despite the manager bringing out the food and apologizing, we couldn't enjoy our lunch fully as we wasted most of the time just sitting there and waiting for 2 plates of veggie and cold pasta... yes, you heard it, COLD PASTA! I wished I had better things to say about the experience, but it was absolutely disappointing, and the way our waitress treated us, just totally unacceptable.

Dined here recently and our reservations were for 7:15. Be prepared for a busy parking lot depending on the time of your reservation. Saw some people parking on the street and walking to the plaza. The restaurant brings 4 slices of bread with a garlic clove you squeeze out and mush with some olive oil- as well as some pepper spread. We ordered the polenta fries to start which was actually very very good! A solid 7.2. I assumed the rest of the meal was going to be exquisite… My friend ordered the Vespa Burger which came with some crispy truffle and parmesan fries and a chipotle aioli and I ordered the Striploin Braciola which was stuffed with mortadella with creamy polenta. The entrees were very lack luster and definitely missed the mark in terms of overall flavour and tastiness. I also ordered a $14 Aperol Spritz which was cold and refreshing but didn’t even taste that good and for $14 I would have just stuck with a Peroni. I’m giving this place a favourable score despite the OK good because Christina the sever was amazing!

I have been coming to Motorino for years and the service has always been fine, however, this time was very different.

We let the waitress know that this was a birthday dinner and we were told that they would receive a complementary dessert. It took so long for the appetizers to come that they actually came to the table after we had already started to eat our mains. No apologies for the delay were received, and we weren’t even warned about a delay, we had to ask multiple times where the food was.

In regards to the main courses, they had good flavour; However, 4 out of our 5 dishes were lukewarm. Again, no apologies from our waitress when it was mentioned.

We let our waitress know how we felt about the dishes and made sure that she was aware that none of our dissatisfaction was directed towards her. Not only did she then bring takeout containers before we finished eating our meals, but she proceeded to bring our bill prior to receiving coffee or dessert. After she encouraged our birthday guest to get a dessert, she decided to bill us for it even though we were told she would receive a complementary birthday dessert.

When we finished our meal and received the bill, we asked to speak with a manager and we’re told that he was busy on the phone… After waiting a few more minutes, we asked for the manager again. Though the manager did an okay job at rectifying the situation, the process that led up to a simple solution was dragged out, embarrassing, and really just left a sour taste in my mouth.

To top it off, while talking with the manager about our experience in a very matter of fact, calm tone, the table beside us started loudly complaining that WE ruined their meal by expressing our dissatisfaction to our waitress and manager. The server was crying to them and to our birthday guest about recent trauma that she had experienced, which is, of course, lovely to hear when you’re out with family trying to celebrate.

Despite the fact that the manager was very generous in compensating the meal, that wasn’t a professional solution and if that’s how all poor experiences are dealt with, this business will unfortunately take a turn for the worst. This restaurant would highly benefit from proper training...

Our third time coming here in less than two months and may never return.

On arrival at 5 pm in the wait to be seated area the manager was on the phone taking what seemed to be reservations and never acknowledged us ( a simple smile would have been nice). After roughly 3 mins of standing around a very friendly waitress ( May) came over and brought us to our seats.

After ordering our food the appetizer came in a timely manner, but when I asked for the bread that is usually served, I was told it was in the oven. After about 10 minutes the waitress assigned to our table ( not May) came over again and said it would be out in 5 minutes which didn’t happen. In the meantime at a table beside us (that came in 20-25 mins after we did) they got bread almost immediately. When I questioned this the waitress said they got raw bread🤔😂

If that wasn’t bad enough after finally getting our bread, we then see them coming out with two pizzas, and many dishes of appetizers for the same table while we are still waiting for our food. We had ordered three pasta dishes. A wait of 40 minutes for pasta is ridiculous.

I asked to speak to the manager and he said getting people to work on family day is hard and that they were short staff and that’s why it was taking so long. They had the staff for the other table 🤔 He then said he would look into it. When he returned to our table he failed to acknowledge the poor service which was disappointing.

He proceeded to throw the waitress at the other table under the bus saying twice that she stole our bread and that we were given our food four minutes after the other table which he also repeated twice. He made it sound like I was being petty worrying about four minutes. My point was why were they getting their food before us if we had ordered before they had entered the restaurant.

A good manager would acknowledge mistakes had been made and apologized which he never did.

We did get a...

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Our reservation was at 9pm but we got seated at 9:20pm. The food was okay. I have had better food at other restaurants. The dessert was great. I will definitely give credit when it’s due. Billing was the worst. This is definitely a sketchy location as they were trying to get me to pay twice. I made my payment after my meal and it went through. The payment was shown on my wallet as well as my bank statement. The girls at the establishment were very understanding and polite. They brought the manager over. The scrawny old man who reeks of body odour and cigarettes has the worst attitude and wanted to belittle me when I was extremely nice. Claimed that I didn’t pay and didn’t trust me. I even showed him proof of payment which was my wallet and my bank statement. He was so rude and had 0 customer service skills. He told me that his little machine is never wrong. Guess what? The receipt had a different card number and did not match my credit card that I used. Which is very weird? Of course your little machine is never wrong. He wanted me to pay twice but no way was I going to do that. I have never had this happen to me as I always use my apple wallet. I like to take initiative especially proving to an absolute moron wrong! I confirmed with my bank that I did in fact pay. I would like to say Bav the manager who I met initially was great and they need to have someone on his level. This scrawny guy was something else and seemed like he just hated us Indian people. Backward mindset and does not understand what technology is and how to even use it. I will never go back to this location. He loved to play the blame each customer game rather than accepting his own mistakes. Everyone’s night had been ruined by this experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Make sure you read the negative reviews before coming...
