Southeast Sandwiches — Restaurant in Vaughan

The owners are awesome, nice, friendly, and i'm going to give it an immediate 5/5, no questions asked. I think this may be the only 5 star rating I've given. The owners have exceptional customer service. They greet everybody that comes in that door and are super welcoming to them. Furthermore, let's dive into the food/ The food is spectacular! Everything I've tried on their menu is on point. If you've never been there I would start with the 3 brioche buns, a side of Sriracha fries, and their bubble tea is a must. The proteins I would choose are pork belly, KFC chicken and the shrimp. After you chose your proteins you move on to the topping section. WOW! This isn't no subway, all the ingredients are fresh, hand-cut, and plentiful. They also toast the buns perfectly with a little bit of butter giving them that perfect taste and texture. Furthermore, they make their own pickled carrots and beats which in my opinion pair beautifully with the seasoning of the meat. Once you have chosen your meat and toppings you move on to the sauces. If you are a saucy kind of person then you're in luck, they have a large array of wonderful homemade sauces(picture provided). My favourites are the peanut, avocado, kamikaze(spicy), and the Southeast sauce.

Final Thoughts: This place deserves 10/10. Until now I have not encountered a single problem or noticed anything that could be improved. The food is very affordable, the customer service is exceptional, the food is always fresh, cooked to order, the overall atmosphere is really nice, the diner and washrooms are clean. You really need to 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗞-𝗲𝗻 on this place because their food is definitely something I often go 𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗦 for 😍 I honestly love everything I've ever tried from them so 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗮

⭐🅼🆄🆂🆃 🅾🆁🅳🅴🆁⭐ -[𝗦𝗥𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗔 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦] $𝟯.𝟱𝟬 🌶 Okay, I know the first word of sriracha may scare away people who can't handle their spice but honestly, these are just fries that have a slight kick and a whole lot of flavor 🍟 The base of their sriracha fries is their fries, and those are fried to perfection ~ 🔥 Not sure what dip comes with it but it is amazing and I 100% use it all up every single time

No joke, it takes me over half an hour to get to their restaurant but I always find myself here whenever I'm craving a taco that is PACKED with delicious toppings and protein 🤤

One of my absolute favorite spots for a quick bite even though it is almost never on the way but when I can, I make the trip and have also introduced many family and friends to this place as well.

It's a small spot but does have a decent amount of seating. Very casual in style, where you order and pay at the counter before seating yourself, and food is not served to the table so they call out your order for pick up.

Menu is easy to follow: you pick a vessel and a protein, as well as your choice of toppings and sauces. You can also choose sides and drinks as well. They also have daily deals.

My go-to is the HOLY SHRIMP as a SALAD bowl. I top it with cheese, caramelized onions, crispy onions, cucumber, southeast salsa, and sweet pickled cabbage. Their avocado cream is a must-have sauce and this time, I requested a little bit of their roasted peanut sauce as well. The shrimp will definitely have you saying "HOLY!" because they're so crunchy and flavorful. Not to mention, a really good size! One serving is about 5-6 large pieces of shrimp.

The K.F.C. was the first protein I tried and is my second go-to choice.
