Outstanding! That is how I would simply describe it.

Just tried these guys for the first time and I have to say I am impressed! I ordered the Soltani through DoorDash and it didn't disappoint. It came very nicely packaged and with a generous portion size accompanied by a sweet note that listed the ordered items along with the word: "Enjoy! :) ". It was thoughtful as was the naan on the side (not ordered) to complete what was a very enjoyable meal with just the right amount of salad and rice!

What sets this place apart for me so far is the quality of the BARG kabab. After the Pandemic, I noticed that some restaurants (perhaps in order to lower their costs amid financial difficulties), ended up buying lower quality meat or a different cut of meat and so the Barg was not quite the same anymore. But in this place, it was great which is why I'll go back again. The Koobideh was great as well but while you can find good Koobideh elsewhere too, Barg is more hit and miss elsewhere I've found. This one was juicy, soft and just perfect in my opinion!

You can also tell that whoever put it all together put some love into it and that overall they take pride in their work! If the food was this good delivered, I can't wait to eat it at the restaurant itself when I get a chance.

They're getting a thumbs up from me and I'll be recommending them to friends and family! Keep up the great work guys and thank you for a memorable meal. You clearly love what you do and it shows. It's not every day you order a meal this satisfying through DoorDash but in this case, this was just what I needed! I want you to know that the effort and attention you put into this did not go unnoticed. Everything felt 'just right'. :)

I wish you guys much success over the coming years and have no doubt you'll achieve great...

Some of the best Persian food I’ve had in the GTA hands down. The chicken breast was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. I asked for less rice and more salad because I’m on a high-protein diet, and they were kind enough to make that adjustment, which I really appreciated.

The main thing that threw me off was the price for adding an extra skewer. My plate was $24, and just one extra chicken skewer cost another $18. So I ended up paying almost $45 for one plate, which is a lot. I understand that quality meat isn’t cheap, and the chicken really was top notch, but I just wish there was a better option for people who want more protein. If they had a double chicken plate at a more reasonable price, I’d be coming here way more often. No doubt about it, this could be my go-to Middle Eastern spot, and I’d drive the 45 minutes for it again.

Another thing I wish they offered was more saffron in the rice. The bit they gave was nice, but it felt really light. Saffron is pretty inexpensive in this context, and I would have gladly paid a bit more to upgrade to extra saffron or even traditional tahdig instead. That would’ve gone a long way in justifying the overall price. As far as I could tell, that wasn’t an option, which was a bit disappointing.

That being said, the value for the beef kebab is amazing. My girlfriend’s plate with one chicken skewer and one beef koobideh was $24, and it felt way more balanced for the price. We both left full and satisfied, but yeah, paying over $100 for two people made it feel more like a special treat than a place we could visit regularly. Still, the food was excellent. Just hoping for a little more flexibility and value next...

I’ve ordered from Rumi’s before and everything tasted really good, so I decided to come in. Unfortunately, we had bad service, which didn’t leave a good taste in my mouth. We walked in and the waitress said “are you gonna take a seat?” she didn’t say hi please take a seat or anything, it was very rude. We ordered the haleem which we were looking forward to but they didn’t have it so we got the Sherazi salad instead it was really fresh. We ordered the lamb shank and ordered the Vaziri ( which I’ve had before ) everything was good but the beef had a weird smell. I took a bite and it tasted off so I didn’t eat it. When we finished we waited for the waitress to come but I had to call her over and she asked if I wanted a take out container so I told her the beef tasted off and she said that’s weird we just got the meat in. She didn’t apologize or ask if I wanted something else or anything she also never took the plates off the table she just left them there. I found that unprofessional. I paid and left and to be honest I don’t think I’ll come back. I feel bad giving them a 1 but I had higher expectations especially that I’ve ordered take out from there before and really enjoyed it. They also gave me a free cucumber yogurt with a real flower on top and I thought that was a really nice touch but sad when we came in we didn’t get the...

Just got a plate of food and you can see the plate has half rice and half empty Paid more than 19.49$(tip included) And this is what I’ve received Talked to the cashier And said to her this plate is half empty she replied “that’s a lot of rice, I can’t do anything about it” Disappointed Will never go back 👎🏻 -responding to your reply: I paid 19.49 for food and tip also. I did aks you nicely that I’ve never seen a plate of food like this half empty!!! And you replied to me “that’s a lot of rice” Are you kidding me?! Talking about being nice? Now you’re telling me “we could give you more rice” This is disrespectful!!! You get paid for proper plate of food not half!!! You need training for customer service! The way you responded to my concern was nice ? I even told you unfortunately I’ll give you review and you replied again”that’s ok”!!! Never going back

Brand new Persian restaurant, opened only a couple of days when we gave it a try. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, happy to answer any questions we had. We ordered Platter #1 (three Koobideh skewers, 1 chicken skewer, 2 servings of rice) and Ghormeh Sabzi stew. Easily fed two adults and two children with some leftovers. Portions are generous (may have gotten extra rice and bonus tortilla bread - they really didn't want us to go hungry! The food was great, probably the best Persian food we've had, it was clearly freshly made and high quality and cooked to perfection. The rice was unexpectedly spectacular! We will definitely be going back and eager to try different dishes. One note, we ordered mango juice, which at the time came in a bottle, but we were told they would be having in-house made juice soon.
