THIS PLACE TRIED TO SCAM ME. I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE. I came here two weeks ago to purchase a sandwich and drink. They asked me to swipe my card twice, because their system was giving issues and it declined. After that the lady asked me to e-transfer them. I told her I didn’t have my phone accessible but if I can use her phone I can do it. She said no, just wait for someone to come fix the system. 10 minutes later someone came and told me she just woke up out her bed to come deal with this and she asked me to swipe my card once more. This time it showed APPROVED. She then asked me to swipe my card again because she didn’t receive the payment. I said this makes no sense it showed me that it was APPROVED. She was going back and forth with someone on the phone instructing her what to do( speaking in their Indian language). She started arguing with me and she went on to say she will refund me IF I swipe my card one more time and it goes through and I said no I’m not doing that. I asked her to use the subway phone to call the bank to prove it went through, cause I didn’t have my phone accessible. She said no I can’t do that. I need to pay again. I asked to speak to the manager and she was talking in her language on the phone, she told me no I can’t do that either- they are sleeping. We kept arguing back and forth and she went on to say she can’t give me my food because she didn’t receive payment. I was already in this store for 40 minutes going back and forth with them. I finally went outside to my car and realized my phone was in the car so I brought it back inside to show her that I was charged for the food. She went on to say no they didn’t receive payment, AFTER I SHOWED PROOF FROM MY BANK. She held my food hostage and kept arguing with me. I told her they’re running a SCAM and this isn’t the way to do business because now I’m being held hostage. She kept gaslighting me, in which I got upset and hit the glass shield. She said I was harassing her and I ended up calling the police who then came and I showed them proof of payment. She still refused to give me my food. She said she will only give me the sandwich. Read moreI had such a bad experience at this location with the staff!! I've been going to Subway since I was a teenager. I preordered my meal on the app, it was wrong, staff didn't care and I was forced to eat something I didn't order, they also didn't have the chips I ordered with my combo, the answer I got was we don't order those because people don't like them, not to mention they didn't have a washroom for me to use as it was full with cleaning supplies but I was told it was out of order!! (LIES) I made a complaint 3 times to customer service head office and not one reply in 3 weeks. Hold on there's more lies, as I asked for the store #, but I already had it so it was a test, YUP you got it the lady gave me the wrong store # LOL. NOT IMPRESSED AND STILL WAITING ON MY REPLY FROM MY # COMPLAINTS FOR THE SAME ISSUE!!! Until I get a reply Subway will not see another penny from me!!
I must mention Subway is not affordable as it used to be (way over priced now) I would rather get a nice freshly made Steak or Veal sandwich...

Preordered on the app & 20 minutes later when I arrived at the store & it was supposed to be ready she hadn’t even started it yet. 930 am about 2 weeks ago. She wasn’t working on any orders & had no customers so she didn’t have any excuse. I said I would come back in 5 minutes or more, when I came back I asked for my sub & she said it was in the microwave. Clearly didn’t care & had no urgency. When I asked the manager later on to contact me, he avoided this & simply joked we will improve. The server was wearing an earpod & half the time I couldn’t tell if she was speaking to me or someone on the phone, this location & Subway as a whole have really gone downhill with their customer service, the app glitches & this needs to be changed asap.
