Tim Hortons is usually good.. But today there was an employee that was a little rude. My friend asked for a 3 cream and 3 sugar steeped tea. She corrected him arrogantly "it's a triple triple". I understand her day may have been bad but she kept giving us attitude left right and center. Every time he said something she pretended she doesn't understand him or doesn't hear him or doesn't see him. He told her 6 times he wanted a mixture of timbits and at the beginning she said "not now when i finish the order" and once the order finished she kept pretending she can't hear him, or understand him or see his hand pointing at the glass. My friend may have an accent but he has been in here longer than 14 years. If everyone understood him then I'll give her the benefit of the doubt of maybe having a difficulty understanding him. 6 times of pointing his finger, mentioning the name of the item, and speaking loud. I may have lost my temper at the 6th time and told her "you don't need to hear or understand him if you have an issue, rather than be condescending just look at his finger and bend down a little u will see through the glass what he wants". I'm usually very nice with everyone and never try to disrespect anyone, but her attitude made me feel like she simply didn't like his accent and war mocking him. The funny part is that she has an accent herself. Why try to act like that! Not cool honestly. What ticked me off even more is that she kept handing me my stuff without so much of a here you go, or anything.. And everytime she gave us something my friend and I thanked her and she never replied. Honestly, horrible...
Read moreDrive-thru service needs a lot of improvement. I felt that I was uncomfortably rushed by the window server. On top of that, they was squeezing my iced coffee as she was handing it to me, causing it to overflow and drip down my hands nearly making a mess inside my vehicle. She then proceeded to blame the employee who made my order, telling them that they “overfilled” the cup because it was overflowing but in reality it was her fault for squeezing the cup as she was handing it to me. After all that mess, my experience became worst when I arrived back at work and realized they made my order wrong. I work nearby and decided to go back and have my order remade. As no surprise, I witnessed the drive thru window servers doing too much socializing and laughing histerically. After working for Tim Horton’s for 2 years in the past, I can understand that it is very easy to be distracted by socializing in the workplace. However, it is important to know when it is too much before it compromises the quiality of product and service. Having to ask for my order to be remade in the past has resulted in the employee giving me attitude and lack of respect after I asked them politely. Luckily, this time around, a kind employee, Jessica, took care of the issue kindly, politely and respectfully. Now, I would have given this review a 1 star but that would not be fair for the workers like Jessica, who are constantly overshadowed by careless and impolite workers. I work nearby and visit this location everyday, that is why I hope for improvements...
Read more1 star, because there is no option for -0 stars. this place has a plethora of issues, BUT THE WORST IS THE STAFF, VERY RUDE. no hello, thanks, sorry, please. nothing. I went there last week and ordered a farmers wrap. the lady on the drive thru wasnt even looking at me when she was handing me my order. She was busy talking to someone while hanging my order in air, for me to catch it. And the wrap, oh my God, the hashbrowns in the wrap were like a stone. they felt like they have been sitting on the shelf from 2 days. i went there next day, and this time i went inside to order. i told the guy at the counter about my ordeal and he didn't even said sorry. His reaction was "huh"....., thats it. then i told him to make sure they use fresh hash browns for my wrap. he just said okay and asked his team mate about hash browns in some weird language which i didn't understand. I guess it was some asian language. when i got to my office after that and took a bite from the wrap, same bloody story. same brittle hash browns. If they are gonna serve food like this, they might consider closing down this location. Horrible customer service and disgusting food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. and Tim hortons, PLEASE HIRE SOME STAFF MEMBERS WHO AT LEAST KNOW A SLIVER OF...
