Starbucks — Restaurant in View Royal

The only Starbucks Ive ever been to to tell me no, when asking to purchase flavour syrup. Ive been turned down not once, not twice, not three or four times but 5 out if 6. Under stocked and in need of review. I live a 2 minute walk away and now choose to drive elsewhere. Hopefully things change, and I'm sure they will - but the service just consistently doesn't care to serve, or is still learning about what it takes to make a good impression. I try to be friendly with them and its like they've never seen me before and could care less. -- very unusual.

The coffee is consistent as expected from the chain. Mediocrity. Its unpleasant to say, and unfortunate, but I wanted to like this place because I'm a REAL coffee fan.. they just dont seem to care. I've always enjoyed coming here, The service is fast , they know how to make a person feel welcomed and safe even if you've just met for the first time. They have public washrooms that are generally always clean and the facility is always clean and tidy and the staff always welcome you with a Great smile 😁 as soon as you walk through the doors. The atmosphere is most of the time calm yet happy with friends usually laughing and having a good time together while others are able to concentrate on their work , being able to focus on their lap top or other devices etc. You can have you bff with you out on the patio as long as it has a leash but it's private enough you can enjoy the nice weather while have your favorite treat/drink. Not usually a complainer, and good luck finding a ‘complaint link’ email on the Starbucks website, but this store is horribly inconsistent. I think they need to hire more and train better.

A litany of: wrong orders, early closing, ordering on mobile with no product available when arriving, mobile app off, curb side pick advertised, on one day, off another, baristas who don’t really know the mobile era that we’re in, and on and on.

Broadmead, a few miles away is equally good and consistent to the hundreds of stores I’ve frequented worldwide.
