I wrote a very good review for you one year ago because the food was great and I was very happy. The ingredients were always fresh and everything was very good.
For the past year, I’ve been ordering sashimi and sushi rolls from you at least twice a week. Everything was always good until last week.
Last week, I ordered a Korean seafood ramen bowl. While eating, a piece of crab shell or shell from some seafood got stuck in my mouth and I almost choked. I couldn’t eat the rest of the food and threw it away.
This week, today, I ordered two rolls. One spicy salmon roll and one spicy tuna roll. Both fish were so old, soft, and smelly that they were mushy. It was impossible to chew them. I had ordered these rolls for my child, and unfortunately my child ate some of them. I hope my child doesn’t get sick.
This experience has been stressful and upsetting. I’ve lost all trust in this restaurant. If I could give zero stars, I would. I will never come back.

The staff were incredibly kind, especially with kids, and provided fast service. Parking was plentiful, which was convenient. On April 25th around 12 PM, I arrived at this restaurant to pick up a DoorDash order. I understand that things can get busy during lunch rushes, and delays are sometimes unavoidable. That said, I waited for 17 minutes while being told twice that the order would be ready in “5 minutes.” The second time I asked, I was simply ignored.
After waiting patiently, a manager or higher-up came out and told me to cancel the order because it would take even more time. When I politely asked why I wasn’t informed of that earlier, I was told, “I’m not the cook,” followed by, “Don’t come back here again.” I was shocked by the tone and unnecessary escalation — I had remained calm and respectful the entire time.
This experience left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. As delivery drivers, we’re part of the customer service ecosystem too. A little communication and courtesy can go a long way.

I was on the phone with a friend who is black and also does delivery while he was picking up from sushi k, he asked to use the bathroom and was denied. When he questioned why he couldn’t, the staff replied that they were scared AND a customer also stepped, so three people yelling at him at the same time… all for enquiring why he is not able to use the bathroom. The next day, I had a delivery from this restaurant and I asked to use the washroom, she told me I could use it. I asked if she worked the previous day and so I told her that I witnessed her interaction with my friend. She tried to tell me that he was aggressive and scaring the staff and when I told her that I was on the phone and knew this wasn’t the case, she changed her story to not letting people use the bathroom because it gets messy to fast.
