Tim Hortons — Restaurant in View Royal

I had a very poor customer experience at Tim Hortons Eagle Creek this morning. Sunday, April 21, 2024. I stopped in to get a coffee and breakfast, and to exchange my defective plastic to go cup. I explained to the clerk and eventually to the supervisor how the lid keeps popping off and I pour coffee down the front of myself. After the second time I stopped using the cup. Neither the clerk or the supervisor would exchange the cup without a receipt. While the supervisor was handling the cup, the lid popped off twice in his hands. Still, he refused to exchange it for a working cup and lid. What should’ve been a simple exchange of a $2 cup to retain customer loyalty and ensure future business instead has put me off visiting Tim Hortons Eagle Creek or any other Timmie’s. I’m going to keep this cup in my office to remind me of how not to treat a customer and I will be sharing my experience of how I can not believe a company with revenue of over $7 billion and a net income of $1 billion will not empower and encourage their employees to make such small important decisions to retain...

I love Tim Horton's Lunch Combo's! Perfect pairing of either their Potato wedges or their Amazing Soups! They compliment the Panini or sandwich/Wrap of your choice. I go here pretty often and the staff is nice enough, but I've had my order forgotten about or made incorrectly enough times now to feel the need to forewarn. In the defense of the staff, they are young and probably not very motivated by the battleaxe of a dude that runs this location, and I'm pretty positive most of them are still fairly new. Still, may want to lower your expectations when it comes to this particular Tim's

The specific instance prompting this review was a chicken wrap; I had to remind the staff about my order after ten minutes passed without it showing up, and when it did arrive, it was not folded correctly - coming apart as soon as I picked it up - was drenched in sauce, and the ingredients were somehow stone cold despite coming off the grill.

I think I'm just going to get the Turkey Bacon...
