Refuge is one of my favourite spots and I stop there way more than I should. Their homemade soup and biscuits and pulled pork quesadilla are one of my favourite lunch options. Any of the baking they make is delicious- our favourites being the scones, chocolate chip cookie & Oreo cookies (my kids). I want to love this place because it looks great, the staff are always super, and the menu items sound amazing. But so far after several visits I just haven't had anything I liked. They're often sold out of the soups by the time I can get there so I assume the soups must be great, but sadly can't confirm. I've had several desserts that look fantastic but are excessively sweet so if you're into extreme sugar as a sport then I'd highly recommend them, but otherwise not so much.
