Big Bite Pizza + Wings — Restaurant in Waterloo

I was sad to hear when the management was being passed on after building a rapport with all the staff.

That said, since taking over, the new staff have done very well at ensuring the food is made correctly and on-time. Any hiccups that may have existed when the changeover happened have all been ironed out as far as efficiency goes. I did receive a pizza with regular tomato sauce when it was subbed for garlic, but haven’t had any issues other than that.

As for the food, the quality of the pizzas hasn't dropped from where it's always been, which is good because this is my favourite pizza spot, not just because it's local and nearby. It would be nice to see a return to some of the options like chili flakes, oregano, etc. but that's not really a dealbreaker for me.

My only point of contention has been the change to some of the options for the wing sauces. I've been made aware it's the same supplier, but maybe the supplier's recipes has changed. The hot wing sauce tastes like half marinara, half bbq sauce and has no heat. Which is a shame, especially since they used to have a suicide sauce that was genuinely super spicy (and no other pizza/wing place in town came close to it), but I know I was one of only a handful of people who would ever order it, so I can't fault them for not carrying it anymore.

Overall, it's still my favourite spot, and I'm sure to make far too many...

First time here….tried their Chicken Pesto with their own home made crust and pesto sauce. Delicious…will definitely be back. Very prompt friendly service. All good. I ordered a meat lovers pizza today and asked them to-make half more spicy for me. They got it just right….even my wife tried a bite of the spicy side!!!! Once again the fresh ingredients and attention to customers wishes made this the Best pizza I can remember having eaten!!! If you haven’t tried tried Big Bite you are missing out…you won’t be...

The first time I ordered from this place it was a walk in order and I told my man Glenn I'd be waiting at the bar next door and be back in 10 minutes to pickup my double pepperoni, (best in town btw). 8 mins later Glenn shows up at the bar with my pizza. Everyone in the bar wanted a slice! Fist flights broke out and people died! .... Okay, why let the truth get in the way of a great story. Point is this pizza is worth fighting over.
