Mr.Pretzels — Restaurant in Waterloo

Absolutely disgusted by the hygiene practices at this Mr. Pretzel location. While waiting in line, I witnessed an employee pull out a pair of gloves from the box—one fell on the floor. Instead of discarding it, he handed both gloves to the next employee, who then put them on and was about to begin handling food. That glove should have been thrown out immediately—completely unacceptable.

When I raised my concern, rather than acknowledging the mistake, the staff attempted to convince me that the gloves I saw were discarded, even though it was obvious they were not. Instead of taking accountability, they tried to undermine my observation and dismiss my concerns, which I found both condescending and dishonest.

I come to this store almost every time I go to Conestoga mall. And the worst customer service experience I have ever had was today. The pretzels the csr served were cold so i went to her and told her please can you get us new ones as this is cold and not fresh The girl with glasses argued first that this is fresh but it was super cold and chewy. However made a new one after and commented in such a rude way. Saying " just want to let you know it's hot and if you burn yourself that's not our fault. Wow!!!!! What a great customer service.
