A&W Canada — Restaurant in Waterloo

This location made me never want A&W ever again. I ordered 2 mama burgers both with extra extra onion and pickle. I get the burgers and it looked like there was no toppings I said “this is extra onion and pickle on both right?” she said yes I sit down open up the burger there was literally one pickle and onion on each of them. I go back to return it and say I want extra onion and pickle and I can see the people in the back kitchen are annoyed they take my same burgers and add pickle and onion to the same old burgers and I noticed none of them wearing gloves... I lost my appetite. So I get my same old burgers back with a couple extra pickles and onion which to m is only a norma amount ... anyways we ended up eating them and the buns were stale and burger was not fresh and kinda cold. I paid $13 for 2 burgers and a root beer I expect to enjoy it for paying that much. I could have went to mcdonald’s and had much better service and hot food at least . I wanted to give Aghila her flowers for my recent experience here. I was waiting in line to order, and after finishing taking the previous customer’s order, she was busy with other tasks but communicated to me that she needed a moment. Then I ordered some items that indicated maybe it was for a child, and so she offered some stickers to me for my son who wasn’t present with me and a QR code for a contest. With the erosion of customer service standards everywhere, she was pleasant, communicated well, and anticipated my needs.
