My family has lived in this area for years… we have always supported this pizza pizza location because the owners have always been good to our local schools… on Sunday we placed a rather large order 7 pizzas, we didn’t expect it by a certain time but we knew this place always gave us good quality… when the pizza came they forgot 2 of the 7… fine people make mistakes, what really made us mad was the fact that they tried to tell us we were wrong… that’s fine… they went back to get them, keep in mind we spent 300 dollars in total ish… but when they got back the second time their payment machine wasn’t working, technically we could’ve gotten our 2 missing pizzas for free because they came after the 50 minutes but they DIDNT honour that. They were rude and laughed it off completely… since their payment machine wasn’t working we offered to call the store and give credit card over the phone but they left and came back for a fourth time. That time the driver walked in the door instead of ringing the door bell or knocking just let himself in. We payed got our receipt, then I receive a call saying oh your 200 some order didn’t go through and you need to pay for it again. Yet we had a receipt that said approved. The driver came back AGAIN and took a picture of our receipt fully prepared to get us to pay again (he wasn’t going to give us our receipt before). If I could rate the quality of pizza I’d rate it a -10, the pizza was all made on whole wheat which we didn’t request or modify, they obviously rushed because they didn’t want the 50 minute free period… it was freezing cold, completely disgusting and obviously was sloppy… I don’t have high standards but when we’re contributing a good amount of money we would’ve rather be called to be told it’ll take a bit longer… QUALITY, quality would’ve been our priority… it was embarrassing serving that to our guests… it was such a hassle when we asked for something to be taken off in price he literally laughed in our faces as if we were completely in the wrong. (1-2x a week). Since recently moving to Waterloo we've ordered pizza quite a few times. Back in Brampton, Pizza Pizza had always been our go to for ordering because they were quick and the pizza was delicious, most of the time. Initially upon moving here we went with what we were used to, expecting a consistent brand experience. EVERY SINGLE TIME I've specified in the order "thick crust" what do I get? NO thick crust. When I specify "New York style pepperoni", which are larger than regular pepperoni, I still get regular pepperoni. One time I even ordered both kinds ( half and half), for comparison. There was no difference. And overall this store's pizza deliveries have usually been underwhelming; dry, thin, and bland. These poor experiences prompted me to start trying some of their competitors. However, several weeks ago I ordered pizza pizza with wings at 4 in the afternoon. I didn't receive my complete and correct order until close to midnight. After initially cancelling my order without telling me because of an internal miscommunication, delivering my order incomplete and incorrectly, and constant apologies and reassurings from the call centre, I finally said I had enough and decided to not order Pizza Pizza again. The only redeeming part of that night was the friendly delivery driver who finally brought me my correct and complete order. Well, the day this review was written(several weeks after the above) we decided to try them again. After 30 mins we get a call from a delivery driver saying he couldn't figure out how to get into our building, so he left to go to his other deliveries, and now we'll have to wait until he's finished before he comes back. Read moreRudest customer service from the franchise owner ! I arrived today to pick up a delivery for a customer and no one was around for almost 10 minutes. A driver emerged from the back and did not know how to get my orders x2. Furthermore, a customer (very nice guy btw) was waiting with me. The owner finally came back after grocery shopping. He said he never received the orders and that I can F owordand the off word afterwards if I do not want to wait. End quote. I had no problem he then said I have to help this customer here my customer the owner not knowing I know him talks bad about me.at the end he forgets my customers bottle of pop which I'm the the hero type I turn around for and get it. I cal my customer to let them know and I'm on my way. This one store is my headache avoid it save your self the hassle and teach this guy to care about people.
More to add I tried ordering pizza again Hello I have a huge concern about safety and customer service from Pizza Pizza. The store is located at 450 Erb St West Waterloo. A driver not very literate using a debit machine has sworn and walked into my house un welcomed. Error code 1111 no network means no connectivity to internet. He called me the F word walked into my house took the pizza and called me a scammer. I explained the law on lawful vs unlawful entry and asked him to have a seat well I call his boss and police. He runs away to his blue Toyota Prius plate CC started with I believe. Punched my Rogers truck and took off to his car. The manager will not solve this complaint. I now have to have head office call me back. #pizzapizza needs to fire this guy and fine the store. Please make this go viral and let's not let our right be violated.
