I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Grand Malabar Indian Cuisine in Kitchener and I have to say, I was blown away by the flavors and the overall dining experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambience was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

As for the menu, there was an extensive selection of dishes to choose from, each one more tempting than the last. I started off with the samosas, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a delicious blend of spices and vegetables. For my main course, I opted for the chicken tikka masala, which was rich and creamy with just the right amount of spice. The dish was served with fluffy basmati rice and fresh naan bread, which were the perfect accompaniments.

My dining companion ordered the lamb vindaloo, which was a spicy curry dish with tender chunks of meat that practically melted in your mouth. The vindaloo had a nice kick to it, but the heat was balanced out by the sweetness of the tomatoes and the creaminess of the yogurt sauce.

Overall, the food at The Grand Malabar Indian Cuisine was exceptional. The flavors were bold and complex, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. But what really stood out to me was the ambience of the restaurant. The warm lighting, soft music, and attentive service all came together to create a truly memorable dining experience.

I would highly recommend The Grand Malabar Indian Cuisine to anyone looking for delicious Indian food in Kitchener. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or a first-time diner, you're sure to find something to love on the menu. So go ahead and give it a try – you won't be...

I am delighted to provide a positive review of the dishwasher at this restaurant. As a frequent diner at this establishment, I have been consistently impressed with the quality of the dishes and utensils that are served to me, and I have no doubt that the restaurant's dishwasher is a key contributor to this excellence.

The dishwasher is efficient and effective in cleaning dishes, ensuring that they are thoroughly sanitized and spotlessly clean. The dishes always come out looking brand new, without any remnants of food or stains. This has made a significant difference in the overall dining experience at the restaurant, as I am always confident that the dishes I am using are clean and safe to eat from.

Furthermore, the dishwasher operates quietly, which is a bonus for diners who prefer a peaceful atmosphere. It does not disrupt the ambiance of the restaurant or interfere with conversations, allowing customers to fully enjoy their dining experience.

In addition to its excellent performance, the dishwasher is also easy to operate and maintain. The staff members responsible for operating it have expressed how user-friendly it is, making their work much more manageable.

Overall, I have been thoroughly impressed with the restaurant's dishwasher and believe it is a key asset to the restaurant's success. Its efficient and effective cleaning, quiet operation, and ease of use are all notable features that have contributed to an overall positive dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a high-quality dining experience with...

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Grand Malabar, and the experience left a lasting impression. Our meal was an exquisite culinary journey featuring a diverse range of dishes, each with its unique and delightful flavors.

We started with the Chemmeen Fry (Shrimp), which was a burst of seafood goodness. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned, delivering a delightful blend of spices that awakened the taste buds.

The Chilli Paneer was a wonderful fusion of flavors. The paneer was both creamy and spicy, creating a harmonious balance that was a treat for the palate.

Fish Nirvana was a true highlight. The fish was impeccably cooked and very tender on the inside. The flavors were layered and complex, leaving a memorable taste in every bite.

The Ghee Rice and Mutton Biryani were both aromatic and delicious. The rice dishes were fragrant and flavorful, and the mutton in the biryani was tender and well-spiced.

Crispy Spinach added a delightful crunch to our meal, and the Daal Fry was a comforting and wholesome addition.

To finish off our meal, we indulged in the Falooda for dessert. It was a sweet, creamy, and refreshing way to conclude our dining experience.

The overall ambiance and service at Grand Malabar were excellent. The staff was attentive, and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere that added to the overall enjoyment of our meal.

In conclusion, Grand Malabar is a gem for those seeking an authentic South Indian Kerala cuisine...

The Grand Malabar India Cuisine, located at 347 Erb St. W #4, Waterloo, ON N2L 1W4, offers a delightful introduction to Malabari cuisine, primarily from the Kerala region of India. The restaurant's lovely atmosphere enhances the dining experience, creating a welcoming space to enjoy authentic flavors. The food is truly outstanding, showcasing the rich and diverse culinary traditions of Kerala. Diners can expect a menu filled with flavorful dishes prepared with care and attention to detail. The staff are friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall positive impression. The restaurant maintains a clean and well-kept environment, ensuring a comfortable visit. While parking is available free of charge, the space is limited, which might pose a slight inconvenience during peak hours. However, the quality of the food and service more than compensates for this minor issue. The Grand Malabar India Cuisine provides a genuine taste of Kerala, making it a must-visit for those seeking an authentic and satisfying Indian dining experience.

We recently visited Grand Malabar in Waterloo and tried their Chicken Biryani Combo (x2), one regular Chicken Biryani, and a Mango Mojito. The Chicken Biryani Combo stands out – generous portions, flavorful rice, and the highlight was the extra chicken fry pieces that added an extra punch of taste. Honestly, this is one of the best chicken biryanis I've had in the GTA, and I’d go so far as to say it's the best biryani spot in Ontario right now. The restaurant also has private cubicle-style seating, which is a great touch if you want a bit more privacy while dining. The only small drawback was the pickle served with the biryani – it was slightly frozen and didn’t quite match the high quality of the rest of the meal. Verdict: Must-visit for biryani lovers. Flavor-packed, good portions, great ambiance. Just fix that pickle!
