Burrito Boyz Waterloo — Restaurant in Waterloo

Tried this place for the first time last night and was impressed by the service and food. We arrived a little before 5pm on a Friday night so it wasn’t that busy. We placed our order for 3 small burritos - 1 shrimp, 1 steak and 1 bean and cheese.

When you order you specify what type of burrito / quesadilla you want, which type of wrap - white or whole wheat and then you pay. You add your toppings at the next station when they call your number. They have lots of toppings to choose from. I would have liked cilantro however, the container for cilantro was empty which I was surprised as you would think they would have all their toppings on hand for the weekend rush. Nonetheless, the burritos were still great.

After you add your toppings you wait for a few minutes while the burritos are cooked. After about 5 minutes our numbers were called and the names of the burritos were written on the bags so as not to mix them up.

We didn’t end up eating the burritos for about an hour after we picked them up, but they were still warm inside and the cheese nicely melted due to the tinfoil like wrap.

Overall we were really impressed and would stop in again. For three small burritos the bill was $20.25 which...

We had an uber order and that was a disaster... Our burrito was buy one get one..we got only one.. additionally we had orders nachos mainly for queso and there was no queso.on contacting the restaurant the employees were super rude and kept the phone without me completely my talk. Later on when I contacted one of his partners al he has to say was I will talk to the owner. Ridiculous. I didn't wanted to give a review bt no response made me do this.. I would really recommend fresh burrito which is just at a 2 min walk frm this place. This place is not hygienic, super rude and not at all responsible for their employees. Also this sint my first time bt even when we go at the restaurant if we ask them to add a few more peppers or onions or anything al they say is we are making it ourselves. This is not a way to make a burrito. I would rather prefer "FRESH BURRITO" than burrito boys. I would not pay for such a few fries. I would have given rating in negative if tht was an option. 1-Star Review for the Burrito Boys located in Waterloo !

This place is a joke.I ordered a burrito that looked like it had been drop kicked across the kitchen before it got handed to me ! The tortilla was shredded,the fillings were spilling out like it was trying to escape, and the whole thing was a soggy, sloppy,and just plain disgusting. One bite was enough—undercooked rice, dry meat, zero flavour ! It was like chewing on disappointment !

And here’s the kicker: when I brought the burrito back and asked for a refund, the staff couldn’t have cared less I got completely ignored ! No apology, no refund, not even basic respect ! They just kept taking other people’s orders like I wasn’t even standing there !Unreal !

They wrapped the burrito like they were blindfolded,then acted like I was the problem for calling it out. It honestly felt like a prank or some kind of social experiment.Burrito Boys, if you’re gonna serve trash, at least own it !
