We ordered through Uber eats, for my birthday dinner, and waited at least 1.5hrs to receive the order, with driver changes because the order (4lbs of wings) took so long to make. The 2nd delivery person let us know the restaurant did not appear to be busy as there were hardly any patrons dining inside and there were a couple other uber drivers also waiting a long time. Each time the driver asked how long for the food, the response was "2-3 minutes", however 45 minutes had elapsed since the first inquiry. By the time the order arrived, the food was cold, stale fries that seemed like they were cooked hours before my order was even placed and the wings were soggy and the entire meal was a huge let down. So, what took so long exactly if the food had time to completely cool before arrival, suggesting it was made quite some time before the driver even had it in their possesion. This was especially disappointing as it was my birthday dinner and nobody enjoyed their meals. This was such a big let down since everyone was in a good mood until the food arrived, unhappy birthday to me, thanks to the staff at this location for not caring what they serve or how or when. Blame for this kind of poor service and food handling cannot be placed on uber. I've worked in the industry for 13 years and know exactly what it takes to make some wings and fries, which isn't much, but apparently it's too much for this location to handle, even on a slow night. Of course uber won't offer refund for this total s#!&show of a meal, so I will never waste my money here again and I will spread the word on how awful the service and quality is now. It is so upsetting that such a simple meal cannot be made properly. Whatever is going on at this location needs to be scrutinized by franchise owners and possibly even...
Read moreMy partner and I ordered takeout from this location tonight. Have to say, by far the most disappointing, cross contaminated order I've received in a long time. They made an effort to contact us regarding a seasoning they were out of, we got it sorted out with a new choice in seconds flat. I was happy they called and satisfied with the resolution. Upon receiving the order, we found my orders chippers tossed in with my partners food. This isn't their standard packaging as we've ordered from here before and know they package chippers separately (they packaged my partners in a separate box too, which makes this all the more confusing). Unfortunately, my partner wasn't able to eat his food due to an allergy involving my chippers seasoning (it can be in mild contact with his food, but these chippers were soaked and mixed into his slid apart sandwich). He couldn't eat the main part of his order, and I couldn't eat the side of mine as they had touched the chicken in his food. Sadly disappointed and most likely won't be supporting business...
Read moreMy husband and I used to visit frequently since it was within walking distance from our home. However, since the restaurant changed ownership, it seems that the new owner has replaced all the staff with family members, which would be acceptable if they had the necessary skills. I ordered a poutine, and what I received was merely the bottom scrapings of the pot—resulting in cold clumps of gravy that were excessively salty and inedible. The wings were overcooked and tasted nothing like the Wild Wing styles we had anticipated. When we brought our concerns to the new manager, who seemed more focused on his phone than on addressing customer issues, his only response was that we would receive a discount on our next visit. There was no acknowledgment of the inedible poutine or the overcooked wings, and we ended up paying full price for food we couldn’t eat. Are we really expected to return after such a disappointing experience? It’s no surprise that the restaurant was empty when we arrived. It feels like the restaurant has lost its charm...
