AJ's Pizza & Wholesale — Restaurant in Wawa

My family and I stopped in Wawa for the night on are way back home to Saskatchewan. And we wanted a good pie so we call AJ's pizza in town. I wanted to try the big mack pizza but the wife didn't want to try it so we got the deluxe pizza. And when I went to pick up my order Joey who brought out the pies told me he made me a personal size big mack pizza for me at no cost. I was so shocked and happy. So I bring the pies back to the hotel and my wife wants to try it and she dose not eat pickles and love every bit of it.. Thank you Joey for being so kind and caring. Next time I'm this way I will be back.. You have a great pies...

Really disappointed that I wasn't able to try their pizza. Despite opening at noon everyday they don't start cooking until 3pm and when I showed up at 12:45 their oven was not even turned on.

Apparently they indicate this under the store hours on Facebook but I looked everywhere and it shows open 12-8 with no mention when they start cooking. Their website, which had no hours listed had no mention of this either.

Maybe the cooking hours are a secret only the locals know about but as a tourist who researched before passing through this was a disappointing experience.

We had a fantastic take out pizza here recently, during our short stay in Wawa, visiting family. We were looking for a place for dinner and options were limited. We just happened to see someone coming out carrying an AJ’s pizza and decided to give it a try. What a great decision! A delicious meat pizza. We would order here again...
