A delightful surprise! The case doesn't convey the content. Went for supper on a Tuesday night. The restaurant looks like it was built in late-60's and not renovated since, BUT it does add to the charm. The place does have a strange musty scent like old cigarette smoke and vintage furniture. There are a few tables for 2, 4, 6. Most were circular. We ordered a dinner for two and two kids meals. Portions were generous and tasty. The wonton noodle soup was delicious. The broth was tasty and not overly salty. The eggrolls were crispy, and hot. The beef and vegetables on noodles we're fresh and not over cooked. Very tasty. The chicken balls were quite doughy but tasted good. The chicken fried rice lacked veggies and was underwhelming. The entrance and washrooms are not gear for mobility impaired customers but the tables are all movable. There was an abundant options of kids meals with standards like hotdogs, chicken fingers, fish&chips, grilled cheese. They have a very affordable buffet lunch on Friday and Sunday night.

Food is very good. Take out only, so can’t comment on the atmosphere. Food is fresh and tasty and I recommend it especially if you are on a long trip, like we were. Waiting time is about average for a Chinese restaurant, so I recommend calling ahead.

As an explorer, here's my spin... Pulled into this town of wawa on a chilly evening and wanted a bowl of soup, was pleasantly surprise the wonton soup was semi authentic Chinese. Tasted pretty good. Egg rolls were good too. They close early 830pm.

For a Chinese restaurant in a tiny town, we didn’t really expect such high quality of Chinese food. The food are tasty and not that greasy and salted, which satisfied my parents very much. The wonton soup is must have. The quantity are a lot. We ordered dinner for 6 but the leftovers could at least serve lunch for two the next day. The price is very reasonable. They only do take out orders so suggest to call ahead of time. The lady who picked up the phone spoke both English and Cantonese, very friendly. The location is right at the waterfront park. So we had a very delicious dinner at the best lake view picnic table. Our whole family are very happy with tonight’s dinner choice. Strongly...

Just passing through, not much was open and so a local recommended Lais, she called it our chinese food place. The decor was a bit tired but do not let that fool you. I had one of the best veggies curries ever in the 40 years of being vegetarian. The veggies were perfectly cooked, large pieces of all the veggies, including mushrooms, all in a delicious curry sauce that was balanced in heat and curry flavour. It was very saucy and so order a small white rice to make it a meal. Large portion under 18.00 with taxes and tip in. I would eat this once a week if I...
