Welland Cafe — Restaurant in Welland

We are always looking for restaurants that not only offer gluten free (allergy), but that make “real food” in their restaurant! Welland Cafe does not disappoint.

We went for breakfast and both had the Chili Omelette with Home Fries. Wow!!!! So delicious. The omelette is thin and perfectly cooked and the amount of Chili and cheese on top is perfect. The flavour is amazing and it definitely was a successful tastebud party. My husband was offered tomato slices to replace the bread.

Service was amazing and all staff we interacted with were super friendly!

The restaurant is super clean! There was a waitress cleaning every menu, condiment bottles and tray after each use. They are definitely following social distancing protocol.

I’m giving them a 10/10. It was a perfect end to a morning at the Welland...

After reading the wonderful reviews of the cafe, we decided to try it.

We ordered eggs, sausage, home fries and toast and a fried egg, bacon and cheese sandwich with home fries.

The food was fantastic and the portions were large.

Nothing was greasy.

Most delicious sausages and the best thinly sliced home fries that we have ever tried.

Coffee was excellent and refills were offered.

Our server was friendly, welcoming, attentive and efficient.

The place is very clean, and this includes the washroom.

Plenty of parking at the side of the restaurant.

Would definitely recommend for a very tasty breakfast.

Very clean and relaxing atmosphere, not that busy despite me going in during morning rush. Bit of a miscommunication on the menu: "Burger and Eggs" is just the hamburg steak, without the bun. Regardless, it was very good and I'd go back for it again! That's really the biggest problem I had. Besides that, maybe.... one of the servers could have spoken up a bit more? Also took asking again to get the second drink I ordered. But they were friendly and apologetic where they slipped. They're human, and I work customer support too so I know how things can be sometimes. Idk, I'm at a loss for serious...
