First let me say I know this type of place is not a five star restaurant but one would hope the food would be good. Our server, Victoria was wonderful her enthusiasm was contagious. I was waiting for my sister to arrive Victoria suggested I have a drink while I was waiting and promptly brought over my drink. I watched her as she interacted with other patrons all of it was positive and fun bantering. My sister arrived and since we hadn’t seen each other for a while she wanted to take a picture together so we took a selfie. Well Victoria saw this came over and said she would take a picture of the two of us. Now that is service. We learned that this place had been renovated recently it was rather dark but I get it they were going for a sports bar theme but lighting over the booths could have been better I ordered the chicken club and fries and my sister ordered the fish and chips. My sister said the fish was ok, in my opinion under done but the fries were awful. I will explain the fries after I describe the chicken club. It was processed chicken on a soft roll with burnt pieces of bacon miracle whip and wilted lettuce ohh did I mention no tomato. The fries I could tell were fresh cut but most likely left out to brown before being deep fried they were mushy on the inside dark and oily on the outside. Victoria was very apologetic asked if there was anything she could do to make it right. I indicated that this is not her fault and when we paid I tipped her well for her excellent service. The next time I am in Arthur to meet my sister we will again try this pub and I hope the owners make the necessary changes that I will be able to give it a better review. Small businesses are the life blood of our country and I hate giving bad reviews but it’s also important that they know what is going on in their business

My wife and I were excited to see a brand new pub and grill to join arthur. Our first encounter was with a lady who said nothing, was as gruff as a retired walmart greeter and did not show any enthusiasm to be doing her job. Our waitress was happy to get our meal order placed. We ordered drinks myself ordered two alcoholic drinks which in my opinion were watered down alot and seem more of refresher than any kind of alcoholic taste. We had ordered an appetizer consisting of the calamari, the main courses were burgers and myself a rack of ribs with fries. The ribs were phenomenal as well as the burger and both kids seemed to enjoy theirs as well, the fries were lukewarm at best. When we were sitted we were provided NO cutlery at all and had to tell our waitress several times to bring the ketchup for the children. The waitress came by our table seldomly and seemed to be more interested in talking with the bartender and the male bartender. Once again no cutlery was issued as well as napkins. My wife and I have been eagerly awaiting the grand opening of our own pub and grill and are severely disappointed in the service provided, I hope that the owner gets his staff together because it seems more likely that the servers are glorified teenagers who come to work to mess around than to provide service properly. The table was also improperly cleaned and still had a sticky residue on it to which I had to ask for a cleaner.

Stopped in for lunch on Friday December 29 based on a google search. We weren’t disappointed. This is one of a five restaurant chain in Owen Sound, Alliston, Mount Forest, Erin and Shelbourne. This one is in Arthur the most patriotic village in Canada We arrived and were greeted by prompt friendly servers. The place is huge with modern dark decor and likely 40 four person booths and tables. At 1230pm it was half full which meant it was busy! Daily specials are available as well. The place had a good vibe and patrons all seemed to be enjoying the food and atmosphere. The menu is large with many choices. Sometimes these large menu local restaurants can suffer on quality but not here. Food was delicious and portions generous. The dishes brought to nearby tables looked equally delicious. We had the butter chicken and lime tequila wings. Both were fantastic, flavourful, presented well and hot and fresh. This will be a go to place if we are in any of these towns. Stop in and enjoy!

I had the pleasure of being served by Angela during my recent visit to the restaurant, and I must say, she truly made the experience unforgettable. From the moment I was seated, Angela greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile, setting a positive tone for the meal.

Angela's knowledge of the menu was impressive. She offered insightful recommendations tailored to my taste preferences and dietary restrictions, demonstrating her attention to detail and genuine care for the customer experience. Her suggestions were spot-on, leading me to try dishes I wouldn't normally choose, and I was pleasantly surprised by each one.

Throughout the meal, Angela maintained the perfect balance of attentiveness and discretion. She was always there when needed, refilling glasses and checking in to ensure everything was to my satisfaction, without ever being intrusive. Her timing was impeccable, knowing exactly when to appear.

What set Angela apart was her friendly and engaging demeanor. She shared anecdotes about the restaurant's history and the origins of some of the dishes, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. Her passion for her work was evident, and it was contagious, making the meal not just a transaction but a truly enjoyable event.

In conclusion, Angela is an outstanding waitress who excels in both service and hospitality. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality make her a standout in the industry. I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied and valued as a customer, and much of that was due to Angela's exceptional service. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant and asking for Angela; she will undoubtedly enhance...

It was my first time at The Tipsy Fox. We were seated fairly quickly. They had a 3 course menu special (in addition to their huge menu) for Valentine's Day. The Valentine menu offered several possibilities for $45 pp. A violinist was playing music. The table had candlelight. I chose the hot crab dip with soft pita triangles for my appetizer. It was delicious! The pita tasted bbq’d, the dip was delightfully creamy. My friend opted for the garden salad. He said it was fresh and the balsamic dressing was nice. For the main we both chose Beef Wellington. It was so incredibly tasty. A crispy pastry shell encased a delicious piece of beef tender beef tenderloin; topped by a creamy rich mushroom sauce. Sides included a fabulous selection of grilled peppers, carrots and zucchini as well as light and delicious whipped potatoes. For dessert I indulged in the rich caramel cake topped with salted caramel sauce and whipped cream on the side. My friend chose the chocolate brownie with whipped cream. Both were delicious! Portions were huge. Service was impeccable - our server was friendly, fun, efficient & and observant while respecting our privacy. She definitely deserves 5 stars(of 5). Super! Atmosphere is a personal preference & depends on what diners are looking for. It is a sports themed restaurant bar. The space is wide open with lots of seating. I personally fond it too open and too bright for dining. It was full and the assumedly local guest atmosphere was friendly. I definitely recommend The Tipsy Fox & will certainly look forward to returning! Great place! Thank you to all of the...
