Three of us were passing through town and stopped here for a meal. One of us ordered pickerel which was over cooked and inedible with what appeared to be yellow beans from a can. Another ordered two appetizers: spinach dip and mushroom caps. The dip was so stiff the corn chips provided couldn’t “dip”. The mushroom caps were canned mushrooms breaded in the same breading used for the chicken balls and were inedible. Another ordered liver and onions which was over cooked and usable for shoe leather. Food was okay, but the atmosphere is dismal. It's dark and was noisy with some "regulars" drinking at the bar cussing and shouting. Our server stayed behind the bar talking to the "regulars" for most of our visit. We were staying in Sturgeon Falls after a long drive from Niagara.
