Mouton Noir Westmount — Restaurant in Westmount

This is the worst experience we've ever had.We need about two tables for a kids party, so we went to the store twice in advance to check if they can offer. The clerk confirmed that we could use the terrace if we make orders from them.On the party day,as soon as we set up the table, we requested the staff to take our order. We were told to wait for all the children to arrive before ordering and starting prepare the meal. So we went to greet the children. Then we were suddenly asked to pay 100 dollars in a very rude tone and accused of bringing our own kids snacks and water.We were helpless at the last second of the party,we paid 100 dollars to the shop to start the party . We also ordered sandwiches and pancakes from the shop which cost over $100 and tipped both of clerks. Worst...

I love this place. The location is so convenient, spacious, and makes for a really idyllic experience, the food is simple and tasty, and the employees are kind. I do have one criticism, and I only mention it because I plan to keep coming for years to come (so I would love to see this improve)- the iced coffee is horrible. I keep ordering it hoping it will improve but I hardly make it beyond a couple sips before i have to toss it out. All the other coffees I've had at Mouton Noir are fine, so I'm not sure if it's just some way they're preparing the iced coffee here, or if it's a different brand, but it's undrinkable to me. Despite this, i highly recommend Mouton Noir for a nice snack and lovely...

The black employee keeps passing the broom under my chair, is she crazy? She's moving the chairs like if she want people in the pool to notice. It's not a 1 time deal, it happens often! I hope the owner reads this message and start tell its employee to lift the chairs when they move it and wait to people to leave before passing the broom under their feet. She also come hang around table when someone arrives and I bet she is listening to the customers conversations. If her disrespectful behaviors are not corrected by the owner, I will assumed they are endorsed by the ''mouton noir''... btw the white hair lady also listen to conversations and I want no business with her and her fake...
