Cosmic Pizza & Donair Wetaskiwin. — Restaurant in Wetaskiwin

As a regular review writer, I appreciate when a pizza place delivers on both flavor and consistency—and this spot does exactly that. I recently tried two 16" pizzas: one Chicken Alfredo, and one Minced Beef. Both were excellent in their own way.

The Chicken Alfredo pizza stood out with its creamy, well-balanced sauce and tender chicken pieces. The Alfredo wasn’t overly rich or greasy, and it had a nice garlic undertone that gave it depth without overpowering the other flavors. The cheese was perfectly melted and blended well with the sauce, creating a smooth, satisfying bite every time.

The Minced Beef pizza had a more traditional feel, but was just as impressive. The beef was flavorful and well-seasoned—not bland or dry—and paired nicely with the tomato base and cheese. It had that classic comfort-food taste but with clearly fresh ingredients and great execution.

Both pizzas had a consistently good crust: crisp edges, soft interior, and a good hold under the toppings. No soggy slices, and nothing felt thrown together.

The service was prompt, and everything was hot and fresh at pickup. Overall, this place clearly puts care into their food, and I’ll absolutely be returning to explore more...

I just found my "go to" pizza place! I am new to Wetaskiwin and haven't been happy with the pizza places I have tried so far, that is until now! I stopped in spur of the moment just to get a takeout menu and the smell was so good in there I ordered a pizza to go. For $13 and I do believe he said unlimited topping 10-in pizza if you pick it up is a deal you can't beat! I will be honest, for 13 dollars I was not expecting much. There were actually lots of toppings and cheese which surprised me. The crust is so tender and Light it's fantastic! Service was great! Unfortunately I couldn't give a five stars for atmosphere, although I wanted to. I believe they likely do their business mostly on take out as their indoor dining was certainly not inviting. But if you're looking for good pizza at a really reasonable price this is the place to go! I will be back the next time I crave...

The donair meat was over cooked so it was very chewy, the lettuce was not washed and tasted dusty. The sweet sauce however was pretty good. I usually don’t let the atmosphere of the shops affect my ratings of the donair however I truly think that the condition of the building played a big part in the way the donair tasted. There was broken windows, drywall peeling, old rusty chairs. And the guy working the till was very blunt and could not hold a conversation.
