Purebread Bakery + Coffee — Restaurant in Whistler Resort Municipality

I visited around 11:30 AM and the place was already bustling. This location is the Purebread flagship store in the Function Junction area, just south of Whistler Village. 📍 1040 Millar Creek Rd, Whistler, BC V0N 1B1 (Note: There’s also a Purebread branch in Whistler Village.)

I chose the Pudgie Pie for brunch – filled with roasted potatoes, caramelized onions, goat cheese, and green onions. It was warm, crisp on the outside, and savory inside — hearty and satisfying without being sweet. Perfect as a filling breakfast.

☕ While they do serve coffee here, it’s limited to hot pour-over style. If you’re looking for a latte or iced drink, the staff kindly recommended visiting Camp Lifestyle and Coffee Co., located right next door. The cool part? You’re welcome to bring your Purebread goodies into the Camp café and enjoy them there. Such a thoughtful and relaxed system — very Whistler!

💺 The Purebread outdoor terrace is colorful and full of charm, and there are cozy bar-style seats inside for solo visitors like me. 🧁 I’ll definitely return to try their dessert items next time — the scones and cakes looked way too good to resist!

I would definitely give this bakery 10 stars if I could. I had never heard of this company until I went to Whistler with a friend. I have never seen a queue outside a bakery before, but now I know why. It is truly fantastic. The selection of cakes, breads, croissants, pastries was exceptional. You didn't know what to order. We ended up buying scones, which were delicious and huge. They also had a good range of coffees and teas. Their Mocha was the best I have ever had, not too sweet. You could actually see them making the cakes, etc through the door at the back of the shop. I love cooking, so it would have been fantastic to see how everything was made. Purebread is life! Our place of work is situated dangerously close to the Purebread in Function Junction, Whistler and their delicious tasty treats keep our team of staff going! The range of sweet and savoury is off the chain and they do a mean loaf of bread too!
