I recently had the pleasure of dining at Twelve Bistro and Tapwerks, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. From the moment we stepped through the door until the moment we left, the exceptional service, warm ambiance, and delectable cuisine combined to create an awesome working lunch.
I must commend our server, Tori, for providing us with impeccable service. Her friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of the menu made our dining experience truly delightful. Tori's passion for her work shone through, as she guided us through the menu, recommended the perfect pairings, and ensured that our glasses were always topped up. Her genuine warmth and enthusiasm elevated our lunch to another level.
What truly impressed me was when the general manager, Craig personally visited our table. It was evident that the staff at Twelve Bistro take great pride in their establishment. The general manager's visit not only showcased their commitment to ensuring each guest's satisfaction but also demonstrated the dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout our stay. This personal touch made us feel like valued guests and added a touch of luxury to our dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, the food! The culinary creations at Twelve Bistro and Tapwerks are nothing short of extraordinary. The moment the first dish arrived, I knew we were in for a treat. And it did not disappoint! The star of the evening was undoubtedly the flatbreads. Bursting with flavors, each bite was a symphony of taste, leaving me yearning for more. The perfect balance of toppings, the freshness of the ingredients, and the skillful execution by the chefs left me in awe. It's safe to say that the flatbreads at Twelve Bistro and Tapwerks are an absolute must-try!
My experience at Twelve Bistro and Tapwerks was beyond exceptional. From the outstanding service provided by Tori to the personal attention from the general manager, Craig the level of care and dedication exhibited by the staff was truly commendable. And let's not forget the incredible culinary delights, with the flatbreads stealing the show. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines top-notch service, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding cuisine, look no further than Twelve Bistro and Tapwerks. It's an absolute gem that I highly recommend, and I can't wait to return for another chef's kiss-worthy meal!

Read moreLast time we went was for their Lobsterfest. As usual, we made a reservation and when we arrived the front host showed us in quickly as normal. Then the waiting started. When our server finally came to our table, after she spoke with another table that arrived after us, her questions and pitch for the specials were quick and rushed. She took our drink orders and left. I had already finished my first drink, put it to the side of the table and waited. One of the bartenders went by quickly and snagged the glass off the table without a word. Once our server returned to take the food order, I ordered another beer and told her what happened with no offer of another. She looked at me and said "Oh, I'll let him know" and left. The oysters arrived fairly quickly and were very good. When the food did arrive, one of the orders was completely wrong, but they dropped and ran quickly before we could tell them. Once the server returned 10 minutes later she looked confused and then stated she entered the wrong dish, took the plate and said she would have it corrected. Now one person is sitting there with no food while the other plates are almost done. All we received was a short apology and an offer for a free dessert. I get mistakes happen, but it's how its handled is what matters. Usually I would let this go but this is the second time in a row that one of the plates was wrong, plus the lobster was chewy and to me tasted overcooked. I did send an email to the restaurant to the 'Needs Improvement' email provided at the table with my concerns and to date I have had no response. It's a shame because when 12welve first opened, I had nothing but good to say of this place and we really enjoyed a lot of their specials. Now with two poor experiences in a row and management that could care less about the customer experience it is making us look at other options, which there are plenty.
Edit to Post: Shortly after posting this review, I was contacted by the General Manager who offered his apologies for not responding to the email that was sent to the restaurant. He stated that he missed my email and that he would like the opportunity to win back my trust and return to the restaurant again. After discussing the incidents and experience, I have agreed to return to allow them another opportunity. His apology and sincerity to ensuring the restaurant is always at its best came across as very genuine...
Read moreUnorganized and Underwhelming. I called a week in advance to make a reservation for my birthday dinner with my family on Monday May 6th at 6:30pm. When making the reservation we asked for comfortable/spacious seating and possibly a booth because my grandmother is handicapped and needs space for her leg. We were confirmed that we would have a nice booth with adequate space. Keep in mind there is only a few booths and then the rest of the restaurant/pub is hard wooden chairs or uncomfortable high top stools. When we arrived 10 minutes early for the reservation my grandmother had beat us there but she was waiting outside the restaurant/pub doors in the front foyer. I asked her why she hadn’t been seated yet and she said that when she brought up the reservation they said the table was not ready and told her (my handicapped grandmother) to go sit on a stool at the bar and get a drink while she waits?? So we all went in as a family and asked for our reservation. The restaurant is packed. The hostess then tells us that all the booths had already been reserved and given away (we were never told of any other reservations over the phone when we called a week in advance), so instead of a booth we were told that we were waiting for two gentleman to finish up their food and drinks so that we could use their table and push three tiny tables together to try to make a larger table?? So now we are waiting far past our reservation time. The hostesses are walking up to the gentlemen and letting them know that we are waiting for them to leave so we can sit. The gentleman are clearly uncomfortable and probably wondering why they have to be rushed out because the restaurant/pub can’t figure out how to properly handle reservations. I’m beginning to feel embarrassed because i raved to my family about how much I liked this spot the first time I went and it completely underwhelmed and aggravated everyone. Long story short. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else for dinner. 12welve has the potential to be something special but right now the two owners are dropping the ball! Hope to hear a...
