Pür & Simple — Restaurant in Whitby

This place makes the best version of smoked salmon eggs Benedict I can find in Whitby , however their prices are astronomical unfortunately. I've both dined in the restaurant and ordered from here on Skip and Doordash and when the meal arrives, half the container is empty - dude, I paid an exorbitant amount of money for my food, at least give me overflowing potatoes or something? $30 for 2 eggs on some bread with fish and a handful of potatoes is ridiculous price scheming to me. Cora offers the same dish for $6 cheaper with the option to add a 3rd Benedict, and they give you a better amount of potatoes for what you pay.

April 26/24 update: really disappointed in this restaurant. I ordered the Norwegian and they poached the eggs hard for some reason, and when I phoned the restaurant they kept pushing Uber as the problem and who I should contact. When I pay $30 for food I expect it to be prepared competently and nobody orders eggs Benedict with a hard yolk, and then blames it on the mailman. Shame on you Pur and Simple. Accountability lessons.

May 4/24 update: ordered the Norwegian and a fruit crepe using Uber and the fruit was brown and spoiled, some strawberries had white mold on them. It seems like they care less about delivery orders over customers who dine inside the restaurant, so beware if you are ordering delivery from this place. We were so excited to return to our favorite establishment, Pur & Simple, and to surprise, our experience was enhanced beyond our expectations. As soon as we were acquainted with our amazing server, MacKenzie, who was such a remarkable person. She was very attentive to all our requests. She demonstrated such professionalism, humor, and consideration that it enhanced our dining experience. For instance, I was concerned about the freshly squeezed OJ that had been known to be tart in the past. However, she was thoughtful enough to provide me with a sample before my order that immediately quelled my concerns. My wife and I had such a wonderful experience that we had to share the experience with others. Mckenzie, we thank you for your candid nature and the exceptional service we received.
