Pizza Depot — Restaurant in Whitby

Would’ve left less than 1 Star, if that option was available. I also rarely bother to leave bad reviews because I’ve worked in restaurants and customer service my whole life and know how it can be, but this place really upset me. On Friday, august 11, 2023 we ordered 2 orders of hot chicken wings, 1 order of HG wings and 1 large pepperoni pizza. Pizza was cold and we received only 1 order of the “hot” wings which weren’t even medium. We called and after getting put on hold and passed off and then speaking to a third person, he told us that they’d correct it, but we had to order something else in order for them to send us the missing items. We originally ordered through DoorDash and when trying to order a soft drink, it was going to end up being over $10 because we didn’t meet the minimum order for free delivery so we ordered a 7up through Uber instead which cost us just over $6 however, they then sent us the 2 missing orders of wings…again their “hot” wasn’t even medium and they didn’t give us the soft drink even though the driver told me he asked about the soft drink 4 times and they told him “no, they’re just missing the wings, from a previous order” so it cost us an extra $6 to get our original order and didn’t even get the 7up or anything to compensate us for the whole hassle. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rushab's Pizza Depot, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting ambiance, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the pizza. Rushab's Pizza Depot offers an extensive menu with a wide variety of toppings and specialty pies to choose from. I opted for their signature "Depot Special" pizza, and it did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside, and the blend of toppings was a symphony of flavors. Each bite was a savory delight.

The service at Rushab's Pizza Depot was top-notch. Rushab himself was attentive and made sure that our dining experience was enjoyable. He was is knowledgeable.

Very disappointed. Ordered a panzerotti like the image on Google and what o received was utter disappointment. No cheese in my panzerotti and no extra sauce inside of it or on the side as requested. I offered to take the bus to get my order right and they said I will be charged extra for the cheese and sauce but if you check Uber, there’s no such option and the sauce is $0 so is the cheese inside the panzerotti. There is no options to ask for cheese in your panzerotti so I assumed it comes with it as do all panzerotti. I got 4-5 slices of chicken, 4 pepperoni, a lot of pineapples, 3 mushrooms and 6-7 black olives. Looks nothing like the picture on Google oh and for sauce, two packs of ketchup. Was willing to take the bus for them to fix this but they opted to charge me extra on top of this. Worst business and customer satisfaction ever, there was none of it. For $15 you would think they would cut their little loss n keep their customers happy.
