Classic Greek (Stouffville) — Restaurant in Whitchurch-Stouffville

Horrible experience at this establishment. My wife placed an order for pickup (I heard every word that came out of her mouth while placing the order). We picked the food up and left, luckily half way home my wife decided to check the bag of food to see if we got what we ordered, unsurprisingly the order was wrong. We had to drive all the way back and when I went in one of the male servers said they don’t do refunds and when I asked if he’d at least give us what we ordered he started calling my wife a liar and said he asked her when she picked it up? Whatever that means. When I simply said the food was going to now be cold with my drive home, he literally opened our packages of food, had his hands all over our bread and told us everything was fine! My jaw hit the ground, he actually refused to rectify their mistake and somehow said it was our fault. We ended up leaving the food there and never got our money back, this place straight up stole our money. Absolutely despicable customer service. This place should be ashamed of themselves. My wife and I have been loyal customers and have been eating there for years. We thought it was a good healthy option. They’ve had a few hiccups in the past where their salads werent fresh with soggy tomatoes and over cooked souvlaki sticks, but we kept coming back. They have also seen us come back time and time again. After a long hard day at work, we picked up some salads and headed home. Found not one but two bugs in my wife’s salad. So I called and I explained that we love your food but this was disappointing. The person I spoke with was defensive, didn’t apologize and said for me to drive over so he can examine the bug. He said he would replace the salad and give me one pork stick. I told him I was very tired after work and they do delivery, please send over a salad, my wife and I have been loyal customers, we don’t need any more compensation after that. Nope, he refused. Was so rude. You know how disgusting it is to open a salad and see bugs? Says a lot about their establishment and their place needs to be under investigation. Gross. I usually never write reviews despite how bad it is. I rather not tarnish someone's business but this one....deserves NEGATIVES!! NOT EVEN 1 STAR!! it is my first time here and decided to give this place a try. Nothing impressive inside but they are busy. They are very unorganized. The cashier served someone else than helping those in line. But worst part was placing my order then yells at me for being in peoples way when I was holding my credit card waiting to pay....the cashier did not hand over the credit card terminal for me to pay and yells at me for being in the way of other customers that need to order......am I not a customer when I just placed an order waiting to pay??? Rather than causing a ruckus, I just left and he just waived his hand like get out. RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!! I WILL NOT SUPPORT PEOPLE...
