Being a COVID paranoid person I have not eaten out since this all started. Finally took the plunge with this newer place in Stouffville. Ordered through Skip. Delivery was great and on time. Started our meal with dessert. Churros with the caramel sauce was great. The burrito bowls were huge and we had high expectations. However as we made our way through the layers of lettuce, beans, tomato’s and rice we soon realized that much to our dismay the meat that we expected was hardly to be seen. I have ordered many of this type of dish in the past and my expectation is that, aside from the rice, the meat should make up 1/4 to 1/3 of the bowl. We would have been lucky to get 1/8 of meat in these bowls. When you pay the price per bowl that they charge the expectation from me is that there should be a good amount of the most prominent ingredient of the dish. I’m sure if I was there and watching them build it, there would have been the expected amount. Needless to say, I won’t take that chance and will not order or visit this place again. First impressions are the best impressions. I was...
Read moreThe restaurant itself is spotless, with a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. They offer a full range of classic Tex-Mex dishes, everything from burritos and enchiladas to tacos, quesadillas, salads, taco bowls, nachos, and their delightful fiesta potatoes. Each dish is made with fresh, vibrant ingredients that really bring out the rich flavors we love in Tex-Mex food.
Don't skip on dessert either the churros here are a sweet, perfect finish to a hearty meal. They're crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and dusted with just the right amount of sugar and cinnamon.
My go to: Small Carnitas Burrito, rice, black beans, lettuce, corn, double portion of jalapeños, salsa verde and 3 dots of hot sauce as it’s very strong so 3 is a nice kick but not...

It's not that he wasn't polite, but you know, I felt guilty for making him do it. Like when your mom is tired of making your school lunches and can't hide it anymore. Plus the shrimp he slap-cooked in a pan for my taco were still raw when I ate them later. Super gross. Overall, I threw half my meal away - which is pure guilt for me because I was brought up to finish my plate because my dad said "there are children starving in 3rd world countries!" Needless to say, I wasn't impressed. Maybe it was just an off day? The only reason I went was because of the other reviews. I won't go back. There are better...
