Under new ownership and location, went to try our favourite, a burrito. First disappointment was there no longer is a food bar to see and choose what you want in your burrito. You have to place an order for what you want in the burrito and there are less choices. Orders were made incorrectly and flavours not close to what they were before and serving size much less. Price the same as before. So sorry as this used to be our favourite burrito in Winkler. Seems to me the Mexican side of this business is not receiving the attention it should, and it would be best to drop that part of the menu as it will affect what they do best, their Indian food and service. A common downfall of many restaurants. Very hard to make money in the restaurant business so do what you do best and get better at it, and margins will increase. Read moreFrom the moment we stepped in the resturaunt we were greeted by friendly helpful staff, the service continued to WOW the entire time we were there .The whole experience was great ,this was our first time to winkler and we were having a hard time deciding if we should eat here or the other indian resturaunt, we are so happy we chose this place . Ive been to indian resturaunts across Canada and this service was outstanding from the food which is very much fresh and full of flavor to the surprise kettle and water they brought over (if you know, you know, don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone else ) . I was absolutely blown away with the service and the food as well as the experience, this will be our go to resturaunt in the future when we come to winkler! Don't hesitate definitely give this...
Read moreWe recently visited That Burrito Place in Winkler. We love burritos and thought we would check it out. We ordered a custom burrito (choose your own toppings) and then it is wrapped and grilled to perfection before it is served. Likely one of the best burritos I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh and home made. There were 3 options of meat to choose from: ground beef, pork, and chicken, as well as homemade refried beans; then, topped with cheese, vegetables and sauces. Although I ordered a medium, it was quite large for one person. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant has ample space for many patrons. There is, apparently, a Sunday brunch buffet. For next time. A must visit for anyone visiting the...
