the owner of Johnees at Winnipeg Beach was harassing myself and my cousins while we were visiting their restaurant. after purchasing food, they immediately told us to leave because they needed "to clean" but we're still open for 30 minutes with other customers inside. after me and my cousins left, the youngest one was still in the washroom tending to her feminine business, when the owner BARGED in (door lock wasn't working) while her pants were down and looked at her and told her to get out. after she left, they locked the door so we couldn't come back in. even though they were still open and their were customers sitting and eating! I tried to give them another chance after they served my little sister raw chicken and told us "well it's not that raw" please do not...

The worst fries and the worst burgers I ever had! The burgers were dry and tasteless, the fries mushy and soaked in oil. A week later, we bought burgers and fries for our family (two adults and two kids) at Nuburger in Winnipeg, it was $10 less expensive for a similar order and so much better. I like to support local business, but I absolutely do not recommend this place. It was so greasy, I felt sick to my stomach afterward. I also felt as if I had wasted my money. Went here today after the beach to grab some food. The blonde girl working was insanely rude to me and my 4 friends, all because we asked for extra forks to share our poutine and some extra condiments for our burgers and hot dogs. She was so snotty to us and made us feel so unwelcome for no reason at all.
