I always loved their pizza, and recently developed a gluten intolerance, so I was very excited to find out I could get a gluten free crust. It was only available in medium. The lady who took my order was very helpful and made sure I only got gluten free toppings on it. It was as delicious as I was hoping. The size was plenty for one person. My only thing would be that it’s kind of pricy but it was so good I can live with that for a nice treat.

We went on a Tuesday, just before 6pm. Service was quick, food was good. We took half of each home, and had the next night - still pretty good. I will go again. They are a busy place. After reading some of the negative comments, I would just say some people may have their expectations set too high.

Such a cute little place that clearly hasn’t changed much in years. It’s like going back in time. Pizzas are awesome, delicious. Toppings are fresh and you can tell the dough is made in house. Cameron the server was so sweet and friendly. Prices very reasonable!

EDIT: My original ~ 2018 5 star review below was for the Pizza PLACE, NOT the Pizza PLATE. Have not tried the new Pizza Plate yet, but heard that the original owner Jim sold the business and hence the renaming. Although i have heard from some others that the pizza is no longer as good as it used to be, I cannot personally speak to the quality of the pizza or other food there. I hope they have not gotten rid of Jim’s original Pizza PLACE multi tiered pizza oven from the 1970s or 1980s. If they have, and have gone to the now typical conveyor belt style ovens they won’t taste as good. Hope to get out and try their pizza to see for myself and update my review again.

We moved to the area last spring. Finally got time to go in September a couple of days before they closed for the season. Service was very slow and pizza was ok. We went back in mid may to give it another try and it was ok. Just went tonight and got no service at all. The waitress was putting cheese shakers out the whole time. We left after 10 minutes with no one offering drinks or a menu. We like to support local, but not this place anymore. If they want to be a take out place, close...

This is by far the greatest tasting PIZZA ever in Manitoba, nothing even compares to it. The toppings are extremely generous and fresh, the sauce is amazing. My husband and I are from rural Manitoba and grew up on Pizza Place pizza and it tastes just as good as it did 42 years ago if not better.
