Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Winnipeg

We had a late lunch, the place was not overly busy .Started with the bandera bread which is always so good. The steak sandwich ordered was spot on, ordered medium rare and it came as such and was very good and tasty. Basic frozen fries were meh, a very small portion which was disappointing for the price of this plate. Also ordered was the ravioli with bolognese sauce which was very good but the garlic cheese toast (which was an extra cost) was sitting on top of the ravioli when the meal was brought causing the bottom of the toast to be very soggy. Made us wonder how long it was sitting on top of the pasta. We ordered a large signature pizza to go, with lots of notification to the waitress and she forgot about it so we had wait for that and when it was brought home it was undercooked (obviously rushed to make it) and NOT tasty at all, barely any sauce or mozzarella, for $34 it was a waste of money and a huge disappointment. If we would have looked at it before we left it would have been sent back. The bite size chocolate brownie for dessert was delicious. Waitress was pleasant but never once refilled our water. Spent about $140 including tip and a couple of Stella's. Would we go back? For sure, have to give them a chance to...

Ordered on-line from BP's website for delivery. I asked for utensils TWICE in the instructions. I also instructed the driver to come to the side door of the house, as I was staying at an AirBnB and did not want the home owner (host) do he disturbed. The driver went to the front door and the host had to accompany him to the proper door. They also forgot the utensils that I asked for twice. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager McKayla who said she would send out utensils as soon as the driver got back from his run. Half an hour later, I still did not have utensils so I called the restaurant again. The manager explained that they only had one driver available and they would be sending out utensils asap, while I've already been waiting over half an hour. She offered me a coupon for a free dinner, which I accepted, even though I don't live in Winnipeg and may not use it. This was 3 weeks ago and I still haven't received the coupon. Also, when I eventually did receive the utensils, 45 minutes after my first phone call, it was a different driver than my original driver, so the line about only having one driver available was obviously a lie. Next time I'm in Winnipeg I'll consider every other option before...

I have been here several times.A little pricey but the food was always great.The last time however I was very very disappointed.A friend from out of town was visiting and we went there for take out.Prior to this I had always dined inside.The young lady at the front counter was very pleasant.We ordered 2 specialty pizzas and took them home.The amount toppings were ok.It was the sauce or great lack of it that turned us off.There was almost none on the pizza so thus there was not alot of flavour.The second issue was the lack of cheese.Like the sauce there was very little.This visit was on the Saturday night 3 weeks ago.If this was the only time I had their food I would have given a 1 star rating.Is there didnt care/attitude for take out? I wish I has complained at that time as I feel the $50 we spent should be refunded or the pizzas replaced.They were not enjoyable at all and we threw the most of them into the garbage.Hoping a manager will answer.
