Chatime (Pembina) — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I was just here at this location (arrived at about 10:10pm) with little to customers on site. A lady had taken my order however gave very rude service. She had slammed my change on the counter with no care. Also I had asked a question regarding the points card and she had responded with low key anger. The male that was working with her treated us much more kindly than her.

I could tell that she was not happy as she was processing and making my order with much aggravation. She would do well to not treat customers so rudely in the future, however I don't see that happening as this happened more than once.

If this was a one time thing I wouldn’t bother to have posted anything, however, I have had a similar experience before on different occasions. Other patrons of this restaurant that I have talked to have spoken out about a rude female employee of this location as well; I believe this is the same female.

I really like ChaTime but don't appreciate being treated so rudely, I will definitely think twice before choosing this...

Best coconut milk tea in the city if you are a fan of this particular drink. Not every bubble tea place has this on their menu. The places that do have this drink on their menu either lack in flavor or have an unusual, un-appetizing after-taste. Chatime's coconut milk tea is flavorful and fresh tasting. The one thing I did want to note is I had gone on a Saturday afternoon which was busy and only one staff working. There was a lineup outside yet she maintained her composure under pressure and still made you feel very welcomed. At no point did she ever look flustered. For the owner, I would recommend having more than one staff person working as it really is unfair to expect one person to take the orders and also prepare the beverages especially on a Saturday afternoon when it is busy and people get grumpy waiting. On several occasions I've encountered a short, very unprofessional female employee who wears glasses. When taking our orders, she took a while to acknowledge our presence and when she finally did, she was extremely rude and ill-mannered. When it came to assembling the orders, she threw utensils around and did things very aggresively. It was very apparent that she was angry as she was scowling the entire time. I ordered a matcha red bean smoothie but she barely put any red bean in it. If I wanted a matcha smoothie, I would've ordered one.
