Chungchun Rice Dog Maples — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I tried this for the first time and ordered mozarella cheese hotdog, whole mozarella cheese and double cheese. So obviously I love cheese! However, after I got my order I don't really know which one is whole mozarella cheese and mozarella cheese hotdog, because they all look the same. You'll only know it when you see the inside. But still how would you know because whole mozarella doesn't have sausage right and the mozarella cheese hotdog is half cheese and half sausage. The sausage is at the bottom part so you'll know it after a few bites. I just wish they label it cuz that's important or even just separate them in the box and name it so we know them. Like when you order milk tea or burgers etc, staff label it with acronyms bec it helps! Just my opinion. But overall it was really good...

The food is amazing, my family and I all love the rice dogs! What the establishment has going against it is they're behind glass with a speaker intercom system still and it's very difficult to communicate clearly. One area is for bubble tea only, and the other area is for the rice dogs, make sure you're in the right line!

Another knock, you have no where to sit and eat the food. No tables inside or out. Driving back home to eat the food isn't an option as it would be cold by that time so we're scarfing down our num nums in my vehicle, and then having to clean up the little ones messes in the back seat haha.

With those to things going against them, we still highly recommend this place though. The food is fantastic, and way better than their competition...

ive had these in Seoul and recently in Toronto.

I'm not too sure why but for some reason the food was just okay, they make you put the sauces you want here, other franchises do it for you and make sure it's the suggested ones are defaulted if none wanted to substitute.

so if you leave with your order before adding sauces you will be disappointed.

PROS • friendly staff • great ordering system • tons of parking

CONS • ive had better in other places, but this isn't bad for winnipeg, wpg definitely needed this. • super busy as always, come early as you can, you'll be waiting 20-50 minutes depending.
