The following was ordered Nov092021 * Spicy Anhui Beef Noodle Soup with Rice Noodles * Handmade Dumplings - Beef Shrimp & Bok Choy Pork Shrimp & Fugus Pork Had a real difficult time figuring out how to rate these disches. The "Spicy Anhui Beef Noodle Soup with Rice Noodles" was not rice noodles. Better then when I had it when they first opened but I can say I would be hard pressed to order this again and may do so insisting on rice noodles again. The dumplings were good, things you cannot stop eating. My first impression was good but had heart burn after(maybe ate too many!). Had them again for lunch next day, good but needed to use Sweet chilli sauce and I tell you, this kicked it up and it they are now one of my favorites. The value was good for what you get, the quality was ok (could always be more shrimp?), consistency I will save for my next review. I did post previous reviews for this and finally settled on this. The dumplings by far were the star of this order and I would not hesitate in ordering any of these again. As for the soups, I will probably try to order something else next time, hopefully I will get the "rice" noodles?. Cheers!

NOT ALLERGY SAFE!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CROSS CONTAMINATION I ordered for me and a friend and informed them that my friend is allergic to sesame seeds. The waitress said they used peanuts but didn’t use sesame seeds. After a couple of minutes, she came with our food and the Lanzhou beef noodles that we ordered had so many sesame seeds on it. I told her we can’t take it because of the sesame seeds and she took it back. She came back after a couple more minutes with the soup, “without” the sesame seeds, but also without the chili oil??? We figured that they just scooped it out because there were still remnants of the chili oil and a some sesame seeds. My friend ended up with an allergic reaction. Not to mention the soup came cold, and on the menus they say they’re freshly pulled noodles when in fact they’re store bought.

This noodle restaurant is my favourite in Winnipeg, only place that I could find that serves dandan noodles! The noodles were soft but chewy, just as I expected and was hoping for. There is a generous portion of chili oil and was not too spicy. The meat portion (for me) was lacking a bit, and I would have preferred for more sides such as beef tripe or beef tongue, but I believe the meat is good enough for everyone else! The ambience was just as I expected, and I didn’t expect anything more than just a bowl of noodles. It’s not like it’s fine dining, but it’s not like you’re eating noodles in a shack. When we were there, there were international students that were absolutely fitted up, so you know it’s a place you can trust for authentic dandan noodles!

This was my third visit to this delicious new restaurant, featuring hand-pulled authentic Chinese noodles. None of the dishes disappoint, but you need to know what you're getting into.

The noodles are delicious, chewy tender and flavourful, the broths are tasty and fresh, and I found the beef to be decent, unlike some other reviewers. That said, expect to come away from your meal a bit more oily than when you walked in. The broths are all very heavy on the oil, but they somehow manage to make it tasty rather than greasy.

The real problem Dancing Noodle faces is that they have major supply problems, their furniture is uncomfortable and clearly second or third hand and the couch & TV setup takes up a lot of room for no good reason. Every time I've been there, they've been out of either noodles or beef, and that's a problem for a restaurant with only ten items on the menu (actually 4, if you only count the Noodle bowls, which is what most people come for).

If Dancing Noodle can sort out it's supply problems, it has a great...
